  1. I have not. But I think they get printed out with your name on them and stuff so that makes sense to me that they could take a while.
  2. +1 on simple green. I don't ultrasonic clean my guns but I'm in the jewelry repair business and this with a bit of water in it is what I use exclusively to clean all of the polishing rouge etc. out of stuff we work on.
  3. I'm still getting my whits about me as far as shot calling goes but I find simple burm shooting to really help get you focused on watching your sights and seeing what is happening with your gun. Takes the other distractions away when you are working on one specific thing, watching your sights.
  4. This is the response I got from HQ. Good afternoon Kevin, To have your scores count the best way is to have the club submit a correction with your USPSA number. We will usually catch it here when entering the scores but I would recommend having the club submit the correction. If there is anything else I can help you with please let me know. Thank you Heather Holeman USPSA/SCSA Membership Coordinator United States Practical Shooting Association
  5. Thanks Sarge, oh well, just got bumped to B class and would like to spend as little time there as possible, would have been nice because I shot a decent A class score at the match.
  6. I'm not sure, kind of new at this. I'll rip an email off to HQ this week and see. I could use it, just got bumper to B class and I'm looking to spend as little amount of time there as possible.
  7. Unless I have to take the sear cage out to fix or mess with something, the most cleaning mine gets is a spray down with gun scrubber, wipe down and lubing.
  8. Yeah that doesn't make much sense then. Maybe next month, who knows.
  9. Yeah there were 3. Too bad, I was in C class at the match, B class as of this morning but just barely, shot about 78% or Alex at Ohio and also had one more A classifier that did not get put through this month. Too bad, was hoping to be well in to B class and close to A this month with those scores and instead, just got into B at the skin of my teeth.
  10. It's looking like this match did not count as a classifier for production division at least, even though there were 3 gm's. That's too bad I was hoping it would.
  11. Gun wise it will be much easier living outside of the city and commuting. There's plenty of shooting in the NY area. I'm up around Rochester so I don't really get out that way regularly, but here's the area 7 schedule for the year to atleast give you a feel for what clubs are active in the area. http://www.uspsa7.org/els/2015%20schedule.htm
  12. Mine is in a basement with concrete walls so I couldn't really drill in to the wall and ballast it that way very easily, I replaced the top layer of wood with a thicker piece and also used a thick piece for a bottom shelf to help provide more ballast. Works alright for me.
  13. A guy at my club shoots the production model X5. Seems like a pretty cool gun to me, still has the classic sig super high bore axis all p226's are plagued with, but still a cool gun.
  14. Sounds like you have got yourself a keeper.
  15. I think if I worked on getting the draw under a second I could pull it off.
  16. Thanks for that. Don't know why I didn't think to look at cz usa
  17. I still think I'm going to buy the thin safeties, on top of the heavier spring, once they come back into stock at CZC.
  18. I have nothing but good stuff to say about any of the techwear stuff I have, plus, they put a good chunk of money back into the sport and that is huge to me.
  19. Not sure about IDPA but the only niche that I see a 97 being very advantageous is in limited 10 or production with lightly loaded ammunition for USPSA.
  20. Front pocket, or cargo pocket, or buy one more mag carrier and toss it on the belt behind your others.
  21. You will be fine. Pinky promise.
  22. I have got to give props to Sarge on his mover stage. Was my favorite stage of the day, and there were lots of fun stages so that's saying something.
  23. I don't really know how Cgw's floating pin could walk. It's larger on the sides than the middle so the trigger return spring keeps pressure on the center. This is for sure the way to go, makes life so much easier. With the slave pin they provide, it's possible to change the trigger return spring without removing the seat cage or any of that other stuff, saves tons of time.
