  1. Handled both and ended up with the Walther. I liked the balance better on the SF and despite the grips being a tad too thick for me, pointed and handled better. Trigger is a no contest win for the Walther despite it being heavier and a smidge longer reset. Just could not get a feel for the squishy Sig trigger. If you have bigger hands, the Sig has longer grips and will fit better. I have small hands and my palm is at the end of the grip. Sig sights looked better, but I was going to go with a dot anyway so that didn’t play into my decision. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Extractor. Hook sheared right off. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  3. I did not like the feel of the transition of the grips to the front strap. Too much of a ledge for me. I did like the way it felt in the palm however. I normally use slim VZs. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  4. I had one go down in the same manner on a Dan Wesson Valor with around the same round count. Ordered and fitted two extras just in case. Talking to others, it seems that we are on the low end of the spectrum as far as round count goes. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks! I think I'll try the same. I noticed some play in the bullet in the dummy rounds I made when crimping in the cannelure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. What OAL are most loading this bullet to? I have mine set at 1.195, with the case rim in the cannelure of the bullet. Crimp is at .471. Do you seat above, below, or in the cannelure? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. 4.6gr Vectan 9.5 1.250 OAL, crimped to .471 gets me 739fps average out of a Dan Wesson Valor at sea level. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. 5.0gr hp38, 1.250 OAL, crimp to .471 - .472. Bayou 230gr.

  10. Where are you guys seeing up to date results? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Following up on this as I'm in the same situation in Hawaii. I just need an alternative to the factory blued mags as things tend to rust extremely quickly here. Ideally, I would have a nickel body with a limiter/plug. Thanks
  12. Three to four 20 min dry fire sessions per week plus three sessions of some sort of cardio training. I'm usually running through the drills from your book. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  13. Exact same experience with regards to OAL. CBC consistently loads longer. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

    Dry Firing

My grip cannot last more than 20 - 30 minutes a session. Weak hand fingers start getting numb. BTW, Ben's latest dry fire book is an absolutely stellar piece of instruction. Micro drills, explanations on WHY and WHAT you are working on, and sample dry fire schedules.
  15. Awesome job. Thanks a bunch for the data! Any range results?
  16. SR 7625, 3.7 gr @ 1.140, 147 Bayou, 131pf out of a G17 with KKM barrel. Chrono at sea level. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

  18. Good info, I got lucky last month to find 8lb jug of this powder, will do some testing soon! Nice find! Only 1 lb bottles here, but glad I could find something

  20. Thanks. When I punched in my data I got info for the Berry's bullet. Is it safe to assume that I can use the data for a plated hollow back bullet for a coated flat base one? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  21. Would anyone have some data on Bayou 124 RN or BBI 125 RN over IMR 7625? Most of the data I find is for plated or jacketed HP or Berry's with the hollow back. I did see the IMR 7625 thread over on the CZ forums for a load for the BBI, but wanted to see if there were others out there. Thanks! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

    P-09?

So, the SP01 and the P-09 feel similar in hand (aside from the metal vs. plastic and texture differences)? All the distances to the controls are about the same? I only ask because I have access to a P-09, but would rather have the SP01 assuming the feel is the same. thanks!

    P-09?

For those that also have handled an SP-01, how are the handling characteristics vs the P-09? I have smallish hands, and the P-09 fit much better than on my G17. Was wondering how it compared to the SP-01. Thanks! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
