Has anyone used a Apex Trigger Bar with the GG Competition trigger kit? Would it add any extra enhancement as in shorter pre and over travel?

Found a good deal on a X-5 Legion, paid for it but could not pick it up as they were out of stock and it is coming from one of their other locations. I will pick it up when I get back from work in a few weeks. First move will be to ship it back to Sig to get the barrel replaced. Now I need to order a holster, and the GG competition kit. Looking forward to dry firing a lot.

I just happen to have one in my possession... Springer Precision. I had it for my Trijicon, but I will use it for the Holosun 507C I got today and put it on my wife’s carry gun. The Holosun seems nice just messing with it.

The title says it all, I am looking for a dovetail mounting plate for a P-09 to fit a Holosun 507 Red Dot. Anyone know where I can find such a thing? I looked at Springer Precision’s website and did not see one.

Stopped by the LGS today to touch and feel an X-5 Legion for the first time. It was nice and certainly a trigger that would be very nice with a bit of work. Price was $934, I asked what they would sell it for and they said that is the price. I thanked them for their time. I think I will shop

Not trying to be a jerk, but a quick YouTube search will bring up several good ones. At most you will have to wade through 3-5 to find the one you like.

Seems like the 320 X-5 Legion was designed to be a competition gun and the LCI Barrel should never have been there in the first place, so when will they start shipping new guns without the LCI? Any rumors?

Thanks @jpeters11 Further research has shown that the Burke competition trigger job would be the best fit for me if I go down this road

I have typically used extended firing pins, longer to ensure lighting up the primers with lighter triggers, does the 320 have such a part available or is is not necessary?

Title says it all! Having moved from the sandy soil of Florida to the hard desert ground of Utah, I am in need of a different target base. I would think that many of you have to deal with hard ground, so please point me in the correct direction. Thanks

Hmm, I remember when I took heat with a VERY small number of other guys for getting Production Optics (now called Carry Optics) started. Glad you are all enjoying it. I just stopped by to check on the latest optics being used and stumbled upon this thread, yeah I read the whole thing I have relocated and am not really shooting matches these days, but getting my “carry” optics gun up to speed. I am about to put my two Shadow’s and extra slide up for sale as I am just gonna shoot plastic and goof around a bit

I have a whole thread on tuning the P-09 for competition. It details the step by step process I went through to get to the finished product. It is a fantastic platform, and the DA is not horrible after you do the tuning. Search the thread and you will have plenty of info to get you going

AFTER the appropriate amount a dryfire (this varies), iron sights are much slower. But it takes time to get there. Irons are like training wheels on a bicycle, take them off and you learn faster
