Why would you guys think you need a powder checker? Is it in case you run out of powder in the hopper? Or because the Dillon powder measure may not drop powder every time?
I mean, you have to add primers every 100 rounds, I just fill the hopper when it gets down to about a third full.

Man, I have a gen4 17MOS and a Gen3 34 with Brownells milled slide, both with Holosun 507c and I can’t decide which one I like better. I keep going back and forth, and back and forth, and the timer doesn’t consistently show one as better. I get a 4-5 PF increase with the G34.
Just can’t decide. Glad I really don’t have to...
And it will get worse in a few months when I find a Gen5 MOS in 17, 34, or both models...

That’s good to know. I contacted them to see if their holster would work with the Toni System weight, and sent them all the dimensions but I haven’t heard anything back. It’s been over a month. Time to send them a reminder.

Yeah, their Black Friday sale is the best price I've seen in a while. That's why I asked, I just wanted to see if there was anything comparable before spending the money.
I wish I hadn't spent $50 on the bullet tray when I ordered my press 3 months ago. Dillon was smart to send that out right away. I think it's too late to return even though I haven't received the press yet...

Looking to add a bullet feeder to my RL1100 and I was just wondering it the DAA Mr. Bullet Feeder was the only game in town, or if there were alternatives that were just as good or better. I never hear of any, but figured I'd ask before spending the money.

I don’t have my RL1100 yet. I don’t expect to have it for another month or two. But after waiting so long to get it, if I’m going to need to mount it on something I want to have it ready.

That's what I figured. I have one in 9mm on backorder now. I was tempted to try and get them to change it to a "no die" order to ship faster, but truthfully, unless primers become available I'd rather just wait it out and not get it from Dillon until I can start to use it. I'd hate to waste the first 6 months of the warranty with it sitting in the box because I can't find primers.

only your chrono will answer that for sure. Not all 12.5” PCC barrels are created equal.
Your getting a 132 PF in the 4” barrel, so I’m going to guess you would be getting 1200-1250 FPS in the longer barrel. There are some variables, like powder burn rate, that affect this.
you really need to invest in a chrono to confirm your results. $100 is a small price to pay for such a valuable tool.

have you checked them against the timer in practice to confirm what you think? If they are within .5 seconds apart I bet it would be tough to tell without a timer. Sometimes for me my draw seems painfully slow, but then the timer tells me it was one of my better draws.

I am having all the same problems from my iPhone as well. I never noticed them before because I used Tapatalk for this forum, but now that Tapatalk isn’t working I’ve been forced to use Firefox on my iPhone and it’s a mess.
at home I use Firefox on a windows pc and it works fine.

I use WST powder for my 45acp loads. There's about a 10PF difference between my G41 and SW625 when I chrono.
I'm using Berry's 230gr RN with 4.50gr WST, and OAL 1.265.
This produces a 168 PF in my 625, and a Minor PF 158 in my G41.

Lets see, 9mm, here's what I have:
124gr Berry's, Montana Gold, or Zero FMJ/RN, 4.00gr TiteGroup, OAL 1.139 gives approx 132 PF in my Glock 34.
124gr Berry's RN, 3.8gr TiteGroup, OAL 1.122 gives approx 130 PF in my G34.
125gr Precision RN, 3.50gr TiteGroup, OAL 1.05x gives approx 132 PF in my G34.

Yeah, I know this is an old thread, but now it concerns me, so it's time to revive it. I have a G41 slide I want to put an optic on. But, I'm not 100% sure which optic just yet. Is there anyone out there milling a Glock slide for a plate system like the MOS?
Also, who are the preferred sources these days to get a slide milled?

Yes, but is one consistently faster than the other? Or do they interchange? Mine are also about a tenth apart, but in the 2.6ish range.
