Hey guys, quick question. I have A LOT of 9mm plated bullets and I was wondering if they are good to go in a poly barrel. Have any of you tried it and what is the down side of plated bullets as far as speed goes. Thanks!

I know I am late to the party here and have read most of the posts. If you are going to start on reloading, start on a single stage press (I will get flak for this). It is important to understand every step involved and learn from your mistakes. Buy the ABC's of reloading and read it but know that you won't gain experience from reading it just a lot of knowledge. The single stage press can then be used for rifle if you shoot any. I know it sucks to load 500 rounds single stage but believe me you will learn to be vigilant of what you are doing and learn from your mistakes... note that I have said learn from your mistakes more than once, you will make them. If you are going ultrasonic with the cleaning make sure you use distilled water for rinsing, you can find it for like $0.70 a gallon but you will not have undesired waters pots. Get a descent scale and buy a chrono, good quality like a http://www.competitionelectronics.com/product/prochrono-digital/that is my favorite.

That is a great point. I did set up a DD 9mm carbine for a shooter not too long ago and it was a great shooter. The PCC route from a Glock with a stock also sounds like a winner.

Well I have not noticed this on mine. That being said I shot a Grayguns version and it does feel even better than out of the box. You may want to try that.

TrL-1 does fit. The thing is that if it was mounted on a Glock or any other pistol that has a rail without a standard rail there is a special adapter for it in the box. The tRL 1 comes with 4 adapters. I had the same problem originally and just changed the adapter and voila!

300 BLK no doubt. Suppressed is quieter than a MP5 SD and tons of more fun! Make sure you get a suppressor that it's warranty is not voided on 10.5". Most of them are voided at 8.5".

For now problem fixed. After reading your comments and further research leaf spring middle prong pushed in and problem solved. After sunday's match sending it off to replace the leaf spring as well as disconnector sear and hammer. Thanks for your input guys!!!

I testing w the trigger pulled yes.

What can be causing this?? I have a Brazos Custom 2011 STI. It has a few thousand rds through it. The hammer is following while shooting every 3-4 rounds. Slamming the slide to test engagement does not duplicate the problem at all. Please help!! Thanks

I had a similar problem. Sent tge gun to Ortiz Guns in Savanah Ga and he tuned it to perfection. It will feed empty brass...

Started to buy equipment to reload for .40 from my G35. Question is this,y barrel is stock and I can see the bulge. The barrel is the new type that is fully supported, would this happen with an aftermarket barrel??

I am looking to invest in a new progressive 650 but while it is in stock I can buy the dies in 40 cal. Can i use those dies in a single stage press?? I have a redding Big Boss II. Thanks!

The thing is that I timed it so I could have the gun back for a few local matches and their timeframe just threw me off bc they said it was going to be 3-4 weeks. I wish they would update on timeframes, I hate calling and bothering people...
