  1. The rule about dislodging does not apply here because ge grabbed it and fell on the ground. You can grab the other and reload but YOU MUST pick it up and stow it away before your next shot, just holding it in your hand wont do. The rule about the dislodged mag applies if it falls while running or moving on its own. If it just falls without touching it, it is an automatic procedural even if you pick it up.
  2. Funny that you say that, I also come from a music background and that was exactly the way I wanted to pose my question about the rhythm but was worried that people would not understand it. Good at least I know there are others that have tried that approach and worked! Thanks for ur insight.
  3. Recently I was shooting a technique drill in a match which required 6 shots on every target (3 of them) while moving. Boy was I fast!!!! And accurate!!!! And so short one shot on every single one. I guess I should ask, what do you do as a mental prep before you shoot this type of stage? Do you imagine how it would sound on your head when you want to shoot said amount of shots or do you count the shots as you go? If you count, can you really count that fast???
  4. I had a similar problem when shooting one handed. When shooting with my left I would shoot right and with the right I would go left. After tons of asking, researching and practice I developed my own technique because nothing would help. I started wrapping my finger around the trigger. What I mean by this is that I would take the distal phalange of my finger and put it all the way in, pulling the trigger with the meddle phalange and the joint countering the force of pulling in the right direction. What apparently this do was a straight pull by canceling the motion of my trigger finger sideways. (Insert confused looking emoticon here) Hope that was clear...
  5. Dawson Precision hands down!!!! Never had a nose dive, have used them dirty and flawless all the time. They are worth every penny. If you can get the no gap ones and if I recall a Magwell is legal in SS so get an Ice no gap... you wont regret it!
  6. I have used the 115's... Never have had any problems, very accurate and the barrel in my STI likes a fast bullet. Try them, for the price you have got nothing to loose!
  7. Mike I have started to make arrangements for a move out of state myself... Hopefully before all this nonsense goes through here!! Good luck!
  8. And the last post I made is not an attack on you at all. I say this in general because I have heard it from more than one person...
  9. Or should I buy it non ramped??

Is this gun a Unicorn?? I have been looking for one like crazy!!!!
  11. So what is bad with the Wilson/nowlin ramp? That is the ramp type of the frame that I am getting...
  12. It has been canceled and its kinda bitter sweet cause I was looking forward to it...
  13. That Cali "no one cares" thing its kinda shaky. I can tell you that you will def care when they throw you in the slammer and force a boyfriend on you.
  14. KWA came out with the ATP which is a great gun. It fits in a glock holster but the grip resembles more that of a HK P30. It is a great gun to shoot and practice with!
  15. Hello guys, been posting for a few days here so I decided to say an official hello . My name is Junot Franco, dentist in Brookfield in the Communist Republic of Connecticut. Actively shooting IDPA, that is until our crazy governor tries to strip us of our rights here, wish us luck!
  16. I think I have a perfect balance sex/shooting... I will start getting worried when the balance shifts to shooting over sex...
  17. That is true, you can always take the weight off!! Now I am itching to get this gun done!
  18. Nice pic!! I love the look of the long dust cover!!
  19. Grafs has always charged my credit card when they are shipping.
  20. Thanks guys. I am have to tell you that weight is the most important thing for me since controlling recoil is a most!
  21. This is a lot more complicated than what I thought I guess the next question would be what barrels are more common in Limited then?
  22. STI custom build in 40 looking for a barrel that can be fitted nicely and shoots tight. I guess the question is what brand? I have heard great things about KMM but I want to make sure I get the best option in 5" for limited. I do reload but all I use is jacketed. Thanks for your input guys!
  23. Thanks for the reply, I do like a heavy gun so I guess that is the route!
