  1. Do my eyes deceive or is Robbie shooting "REVO" Time for an eye exam..... He is shooting L-10 and Production this year Same first and last name initial but different middle initial. Robert J L - Limited 10 Robert H L - REV That would be Robert J Leatham in L-10 and a gentleman named Robert H Lee in revolver division..... If you are seeing the abbreviated names, I could see where that would mess you up.

  4. Outer, I love your youtube channel with these older videos. Not sure where you picked them up from, but it is a ton of fun to watch those older videos. Thank you very much for sharing those.
  5. Bob is the hottest shooter on the planet right now IMHO!! No disrespect to Bob V, but have you looked at what Dave S has done in 2011 alone? Understand that Bob V works full time as an LEO. Dave, not so much. Not saying Dave is a slug and doesn't work for a living as I'm sure he does. But, being an LEO has pressures on you that are hard to understand unless you have walked in those shoes, as I have over the last 21 years and continue to do for another (hopefully) 6-9 years. Dave is an awesome ambassador to Glock, and a VERY respectful guy. I have talked with Bob V in the past and I can tell you he would be equal to the task of what Dave has done both on and off the courses of fire. Problem is, I'm not so sure Bob V would be willing to give up his current job, and I can't say that I blame him.
  6. Do you have a link to these other bags? I googled it and some funky things came up....
  7. It is true. He announced it on Facebook. Glock lost it's identity. No offense to any of the other Glock shooters, but Dave was the face of Glock. All I can say is, if he was that good with Glock pistol, look out if/when he gets a 2011 pistol in those hands. No information on who will pick him up or where he plans on going. All his facebook entry said was he continues to compete and spread the good word on USPSA shooting.
  8. Matt, I know I could just ask you this question tomorrow, but I thought I would just ask this for the benefit of everyone else in case they are curious as well. I'm such a giver.... Do you know of any vendors that will be at this years match? Maybe to buy one of those AA magnetic magazine holders or whatever people may desire to purchase while out there at this AWESOME match? Lets see if we can crack the 300 compeititor mark. How cool is it so far that you and the rest of the gang are at 291?!
  9. I like the CED professional deluxe range bag with the extra couple of pockets. It is small enough for trips, yet big enough to haul all off the "stuff" necessary for a match.
  10. 3D, Looks like your squad has the potential to be rather "loud". Good luck, you picked a very good match in which to start your "major" match experience.
  11. Myth, rumor and speculation--- I love it. I don't use a round count as a litmus test. I shoot the gun until I can feel a difference in the recoil and feed characteristics. Then I change it.
  12. I use special molded plugs fit to my ears + ear muffs from 3M. It helps protect my ears when I shoot open. I also like to cut out ALL extra noise that may break my concentration just before the buzzer goes off.
  13. Slightly bent and ready for take-off!
  14. Thanks for the heads up Kyle. I'm not really a Glock guy, but those are really good prices.
  15. I see there are going to be 20 top notch stages for the nationals match. Just wondering if you had a general time-frame in which the stages will be posted. That is all, and thank you
  16. Great point on the HUGE conflict with DoubleTap JT. June 14-17 gets my vote.
  17. Had some big names sign up over the last few days--- Kippi Max Travis Blake Manny Zerwas
  18. Stage 3 known as "Twister"... I have but two words for that stage: Extremely evil
  19. For breakfast, I'll have maple and brown sugar oatmeal with raisins. During a match I alternate a water with a water/propel (grape) mix. I also eat the ready made tuna packs that have the little crackers in them along with the tuna, relish and low calorie mayo. I call it brain food. It really keeps me going even during the warmest of matches (as in the doubletap and A5 this year). I believe it helped my performance toward the end of both days.
  20. I'm using a tungsten in my M&P9L. I love having the extra weight out front, but that is such a personal thing.
  21. The wanting to shoot faster part is the dangerous area you don't really want to visit. The better shooters can and sometimes (depending on who "they" are ) will give the other shooters little tips during a given course of fire that could help them streamline their plan. Shooting faster is not necessarily a good thing. Being more efficient IS a good thing, and THAT is what a much better shooter can do for you.
  22. For those of you that have never shot a USPSA Nationals before, this match was essentially a 14 stage Nationals. Very well run, OUTSTANDING STAGES. Very technical and accuracy intensive. I am so happy I decided to go. Finally got a chance to meet Chris Keen, Barry Bean and many guys in between . All very nice guys. Squad 411 was a very hard working squad and that really helps to complete the match. The weather was ok for the most part as we shot on Saturday PM and Sunday AM (nothing much you can do about controlling the weather). This was a great value (125.00) for this type/quality of a match. I ended up recruiting 2 other local shooers to go with me from MN and they are happy they went. Both of them took home plaques, one 2nd place B in SS and 3rd overall SS and the other 1st place D in limited (her first plaque ever at any match). Thanks to the R/O's and match staff for doing such a great job with stats/water/registration/etc. Edited to add the youtube video listed below.
