  1. Hello all, was thinking about buying a mod . 627 to use in USPSA andfor STEEL. My thoughts are this is a n frame and moon clip gun, what holsters would I need, and moon clips plus holders, also do the cartridges shake in the clips making hard to reload. Many Thank and God BLESS
  2. Hey guys , does anyone have data for CSB5 Maxma powder , in the 38 Special using160 gr. cast bullets. THANKS
  3. Hello All, I purchased a Smith and Wesson mod. 66-7 to use in I.D.P.A., i know this mod. was discontinued in 2005, but my question is about the rifling in the barrel. I have never saw any like these, it almost looks like Glocks rifling. Many would say thats a good thing but not me because I cast and shoot my own bullets . I called S & W and they informed me that shooting lead in this pistol wasnt a issue . Does anyone have any knowledge about this mod. because I cant find any information on the net and S. and W. doesnt seem to want to share any either . Thanks Guys, dont forget that little bump on the end of the barrel
  4. Hello fellows, I am using a 686SSR in IDPA comp. and I cant seem to get the question settled in my mind let alone the R.O.s who dont even know how to to tell you to open the cylinder to show clear. The question is can I wear my speed holders on the weak side as long as they are behind the center line of my body, Sorry to keep beating this horse , but I have a torn rotator cuff in my strong hand side and this would I think be a little easer for me to reloadTHANKS AGAIN SAM
  5. Hey fellow rev. shooters , I have a question that is unclear to me. Can you according to IDPA rules carry all 3 speedloaders on your weak side? THANKS Sam
  6. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith to lighten the double action pull of my 686SSR ?I have changed trigger return spring , and replaced the factory main spring with a WOLF , plus polished the return spring housing, this helped the single action pull but not the double action, The double action pull seems to be between 12 lbs.- 15 lbs.. The pistol is , or was new with maybe 1500 rounds through it, but is way too heavy trigger pull for me . Thanks Sam
  7. OMG! Please stop shouting at me. I'm already way into the Scotch and the whole post hurts my head. Can you re-state the question? YES I CAN YOU CAN TAKE YOUR YOUR 2 CENTS WORTH AND GET YOU SOMETHING ELSE TO DRINK , THANKS BUT NO THANKS
  8. I DID OUNCE WITH 1911A ND WAS MARKSMAN, JUST TO PUT THINGS IN PERSPETIVE, ALSO THAT DANG BUZZER WHEN IT GOS OFF ITS LIKE HITTING THE ERASE BUTTON IN MY BRAIN , NOTHING GOES LIKE I PLANNED IT . IF ANYONE KNOWS , I WOULD LIKE TO PRATICE AT HOME SOME BEFORE GOING TO MATCHES ,ID LIKE TO GET MY SELF ESTEEM BACK IF I COULD. I SHOOT A 686 SSR , COMP2 LOADERS THANKS SAM
