I have a glock FL guide rod and use glock springs. I have 11lb to 15lb in 1lb increments. Using a 13 in my open major 9 Core. Runs fine... will be testing loads with a 12lb when bullets get here. Will use the 11lb for my lite steel loads.

Can not say about the stock barrel but my KKM will take a 1.180 OAL with a precision delta 124 JHP. But the mags will only run with 1.175 OAL..... so that's My MAX OAL

It will never be at a 2011 level BUT I'm just a REBEL!!!! The 1lb 10oz trigger works RELIABLE. The 8.8gr of 3n38 works almost great , Shoots pretty flat.... but wanna try 9.0 and 9.2 Dot track better than HS-6 and STRAIGHT. (Outta 124gr PD JHP until they arrive) And wanna try a 12lb glock spring, have a 13lb in it now.

My pet project is a gen 1 core . KKM 5.5 threaded barrel with a 11 port SJC COMP. Frame mounted C-more. And 8.8grs of 3n38 shot a PD 124gr JHP pretty flat and dot tracked straight . I do want to try 9.0 and 9.2 but stuck waiting on more PD back ordered 124gr jhp. I'm using a glock 13lb spring now and I'm wondering if I can go lower or how low can I go? The load has no pressure signs.

As a tool maker I had to ask. I have in the past ran EDM Sinker and spent the last 20 plus years running Wire EDM and mills, I've settled into managing shops and running the Wire machines. The EDM process leaves NO BURRS . I have used wire EDM to lighten my slides.... I have been thinking of adding popple holes and wanted to hear what others have done (drilled or EDM as Magna Port does). The shop I run now has no sinker or hole popper. And deburring the inside of a barrel is tough to get the inside as clean and sharp as EDM. So now I ask how much more powder will be needed if I add three .156 Dia. Holes. Wish I could add my hi res pix of the slide cut I've done. But it wont let me. Thanks for your input.

I've come across some videos and post here of people drilling their holes. Burr vs no burr ... accuracy has to suffer by drilling just because of the Burr. Even plunge cutting with a 4 flute center cutting endmill will leave a burr. What's your experience with either way?

That's a great question ! I'm leaning the same way... As a toolmaker by trade ANY shape that has a sharp corner or a .010 rad in the corner is subject to cracking. I will be asking them when I call to find out shipping details. And post it.
