  1. Did you notice that Obama won the election? He was elected by consumers. Workers certainly didn't vote for him. What you are seeing at your club is a microcosm of society in general. The bad part is that it is/will be harder to train new people/children to be workers when they look around and all they see is the consumers enjoying the fruits of the workers labor for free. The only way out of this downward spiral is a revolution. Kick the consumers out of the club. Get down to a smaller group of workers and you will not only leave the matches happier, but you will also get to shoot a lot more.
  2. Syrac is the go to standard for me. That being said, I have the Nordic barrel and the kies adj gas block and haven't had a moments trouble out of either with a standard weight bcg.
  3. One more vote for the 3g1. I built mine and a few others for buddies and believe me when I tell you that if you can operate YouTube, you can put an ar together. Look up the ultimate reloader. He has a series in putting together an ar and it couldn't be simpler.
  4. The 38 Short colt cases are the same size as 9mm. The loads are identical. They are not unsafe.
  5. I can do it whenever I want but my timer and camera are both too slow to pick up the second shots. Oh, and I usually combine that trick with my "perfect double" trick. Cha-lee- I have been watching your videos for years and I really appreciate your taking the time to make and post them, but good God man, get a new camera. Even cell phones take better video these days.
  6. Please report back with your findings. I was curious when my buddy told me that but we didn't get a chance to finish the conversation.
  7. Looks like an awesome rig. Like you have already pointed out, all you need is ammo and practice.
  8. My rifle shoots 77 grain bullets 3" to the left of a 55gr zero. Bottom line - there isn't a definite shift that applies to all rifles. You will have to re zero yourself.
  9. A friend recently called Briley about building a 3-gun shotgun on this platform and was advised against it. I don't have any other details, but I'm sure you could call Briley and get their take on it yourself.
  10. Order the parts and do it yourself. If you are paying 65 for labor, don't, and put that money towards an ar wrench and a vise block.
  11. Just like everything else, you can go cheap and then buy the good stuff later. That route is always more expensive than buying good the first time. I have the bushnell elite tactical 1-6.5. I have never considered bushnell "the good stuff" til this optic. It is everything I wanted and it is 95% of a Swarovski in my opinion for 1400 less. That being said, if you are shooting anything past 150-200 the center dot on the tac30 makes things difficult. It is 2.4 moa iirc and that is just too big for small targets at distance. I moved mine to my 22 and it is great there.
