Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Have you tried shooting rifle and shotgun left handed? What I mean is you should try shouldering the weapons on your left shoulder and seeing if you get a better sight picture before you do anything else.
  2. No shit? Hell i might have to look at more of the guys stuff.
  3. I am cross dominant, as in Right handed and Left eye dominant. I just run rifle and shotgun left handed and pistol right.
  4. I would need a vise to hold it along with a torque wrench for the barrel nut, along with a place to work, all that alone cost more than 80 bucks. Besides it's already done and back from adco and they did a wonderful job.
  5. UPDATE: Talked to a couple of guys near me they either recommended the local shop or ADCO. So I just got it back from adco they do great work, total turn around time from them receiving it was 3 days! During thanksgiving too! Any way looks great and I will be posting a range update as soon as I can get out. Also got a great deal on a burris TAC 30 so that will be riding on it for now. http://imgur.com/a/rWRjN Pics minus the optics
  6. Any Gas block would be sufficient to prevent the end plate from moving. Here are a couple pictures To show you what I'm talking about. The delta ring http://imgur.com/GgfSn The gas block and end plate http://imgur.com/wK9RB Also the MOE hand guard has plenty of space under it for a low profile gas block
  7. The only way to get the MOE on there is to remove the current barrel nut and install a delta ring and stock nut along with the endplate and something to hold it on like a A frame fsp.
  8. It is called a brass DEFLECTOR for a reason.
  9. looks like that ones already sold, but while I'm here as far as Red dots go is the H-1 150 dollars better than the PRO? I figured this was better than starting up a new thread.
  10. If you want to mount the moe you will need a delta ring hanguard setup eg. The spring and ring at the receiver and an end plate at the gas block like here. http://stickman.rainierarms.com/galleries/Projects/DD%20Rail/IMG_4404%201028%20WEVO%20Stick.jpg The YHM uses a proprietary barrel nut which will HAVE to be changed for most if not all other handguards. Do you really want a MOE or are you just wanting a smooth handguard?
  11. Does it use the delta ring system to hold the handguard? The Moe is not free floating. It is held on by the end plate behind the gas block. I will need a little more info to help pictures would be even better.
  12. Yeah after doing some pricing I am definitely going to go with the ap customs tube even if I do send it off to adco for work I'll still save about 200 dollars. Thanks alot for the second opinion it has helped.
  13. I did look into my local area. The only gunsmith I can find is an ass and I refuse to give him my business. I will ask around at the next uspsa match to see if someone knows of anybody else. I after thinking about it I think I'm going to drop the Iron sight idea, go with th ap customs and use the extra money on a red dot.
  14. Actually my biggest problem right now is the hand guard not recoil. I am a lanky individual and have burned my self before on the gas block when re-positioning during a stage mainly when standing up from prone. I would like to have a longer handgaurd the comp install was because I figured since I was already sending it to them why not.
