10 rnd glock mags have some tough springs leave them loaded for at least a week mine are still tough to load after being loaded for who knows how long
  5. winchester should be punished for NT brass this is obviously an attempt to irritate me throw out the NT and be happy
  6. the video from dillon for 6 bucks is worth $50 the vid from BE competition reloading covers a ton of stuff both essentials!!!
  7. Just checked "gunbroker.com" for them and they have em
  8. It's a great feeling doing more with less good job! hopalong are you going to keep up the suspense! what the heck are the other three?
  9. I think this is why the rules are set up to catch you WAY ahead of really doing some harm so learn from it and stay sharp and train smart!
  10. Check out Trippresearch.com they have some good info about the # of coils in a spring and how this effects there life.I've found the seven rnd 45 don't seem to care if you leave them loaded forever they still work fine. I'm going to leave one of my ten rnd mags loaded and see if matters. On a similar note good mag springs are cheap and easily had through Brownells.com ckeck em out!
  11. Some possibilities Gun not broken in? how many rnds on it? Too heavy recoil spring Rough edge on extractor... polish it rough or tight chamber... polish or use finish reamer Is the load normal? overly hot?
  12. In my humble experience you can't count on a chrono more than 80% of the time and powder can vary from lot to lot by more than 12% not counting brass having different volume from lot to lot and who knows what else?! Best Wishes!
  13. I thought a year on electrical stuff. I broke mine and don't have the heart to even ask for warr. If I have to get a new one I'm ordering from BE thats the ONLY way to go!
  14. mag springs for what? brownells has tons of springs
  15. Perhaps being single isn't so bad!
  16. Have you checked to make sure your using the semi wad side of the seating die? and not the round nose side. I have same press and if I just plop the bullet down and ram it in they do that sometimes but its still pretty rare I just slow it down a bit and seems to work fine.
  17. I've never heard a mouse fart. What a ya feedin em?
  18. Whether it should be used in a major match or not I couldn't tell you I haven't been used in one either. I love the star and dont care if its moving or not it adds random flavor to shooting and a challenge. I'm relatively new shooter and shooting this thing from still or moving or port, prone or whatever hasn't bothered me yet. One vote for!
  19. redmist10, I found out what I did. I was planted in the box on both sides the second target on both sides were the one with the mike I had even splits all the way. the mikes would've landed horizontally on the target with the other hits but I was moving the gun to the last one and didn't give the middle target the respect in demanded. thanks
  20. The dillon is very sticky if you leave it on the case it must be loaded and removed immediately not doing this has caused me some jams on a 45acp at the worst of times and alot of frustration to find the problem and cleaning the lube off keeps the rounds and mags easier to clean when you drop them in the sand and whatever on a speed reload plus the stuff gets baked into the chamber when you shoot.
  21. If your using fp-10 then you need shooters choice "rust prevent" the fp-10 has no rust preventative in it and the rust prevent works super with fp-10 as it was made to go with it! PS: penny... I'm concerned about your "sniffing habit" try the RUST PREVENT" smells GOOOOOD
