Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Here's my case cleaning station: [edited for picture size]
  2. I sold my 5 Lee Pro 1000's, and bought the Dillon XL650. What a difference! Here's my problem: I have been using the same username on several different forums. Now that I am "Leeless", and am using the fantastic 650, I no longer am spewing spent primers all over creation (and into my shoes). The primers do go into the little blue cup (at least for me). I may have to change my username to something else, but I don't know what...
  3. CHP5, I got the stands from a seller (creightoent) on eBay. Here's a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...7100709033&rd=1
  4. Thanks one and all, I will take all suggestions under advisement. This forum is just what I need to become a better reloader/shooter. I just wish I had discovered it sooner. I think a donation to "be" is in order, and I will deliver.
  5. I'm loading on a XL650, got it two weeks ago from Brian. I'm finding it hard to place the bullet (200g LSWC - Meisterbullet) in a true upright position some of the time (approx. 8%). Would using varied headstamp brass cause the bell to be different depending on the brand/age of the case? The cartridges that fail the chamber gauge test have a bulge on one side of the case, apparently from a tilted bullet pushing out the case at the base of the bullet. This brand of bullet seems a little "sticky" to the touch, hard to let go. Any and all suggestions welcome.
  6. Dream, I just got my 650 and have it set up. Can you tell me what to watch for when operating the shell holder (without the tool head)? Mine is set up for 45acp. I've been using Lee Pro 1000's, and am just now getting into the Dillon. Thanks.
  7. How many other safes are heated and illuminated? I have an 18" Goldenrod (keeps temp ~ 82), and a safe light kit (rope light with magnetic on/off switch).
  8. My Mrs. would have something else to say...and she has. But after 25yrs, she's accepted my hobbies, as I, her's.
  9. Add me to the list of recent converts to Dillon reloaders. I have been using Lee Pro 1000s (5 of them). They work, but not smoothly. Well, I put in a lot of overtime, saved up some $$$ and called Brian yesterday. What a great guy. He noticed I had ordered something I really didn't need, and suggested something else that I probably could use. Now I have a 650 on the way, including a bunch of extra stuff. After I get it up and running, I hope to sell of the Lees. Wish me luck.
