  1. What I start doing is dropping the FP into tunnel wiout the spring, measuring from the back of the FP to the back of the slide, then I can cut coils and check until I get just a few thousandths short of that measurement without trashing any springs.
  2. I like Clays powder with 135gr Berry's plated bullets in my CZ.
  3. Rich of Canyon Creek Custom or Jim Bodkin of JD Sales are good, but I'd be happy to help you do it yourself I just took 60 something pictures while tuning up an SP01 with the intention of making a how to thread, the Tanfo is pretty similar.
  4. I've never tried TapTalk, but the mobile version of this site works great for me
  5. Is that a question? Because if it's a statement, it's not accurate. Bending the TRS will lighten the trigger pull, although so will installing the CGW RP TRS (which I think is the more reliable option), but the distance of pretravel will remain the same. The resistance you feel during pretravel will be less, but the length is determined by the sear, hammer and trigger bar (which can be modified).
  6. I would like to rescind the above request... I got an email from a friend who got a link from CZ-USA where to buy one of the nine Czechmate comps they have in stock... for $245 In case anyone wants to grab one, here's the link: http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/19207_Compensator-9mm-4-Port
  7. I don't understand what you're saying Goose you got light strikes with the 13# hammer spring, EG XL FP and CCI primers right? but now you don't get them with 13# hammer spring, Henning's XL FP and CCI primers? or have you changed primers as well?
  8. Anything is po$$ible, but it would require a custom trigger bar since the TS has a wider frame
  9. I shoot a short spring Tanfo with a 13# hammer spring with the stock FP which runs well with Winchester primers, but I have periodic light strikes with CCI.
  10. Tom, it's true, the TS trigger sub 2# out of the box, mine is fully tuned to just over 1.5# with an 18# hammer spring; if I run a light hammer spring it's close to 1#, but it gets a little mushy. The TS has a unique trigger return mechanism which increases it's potential beyond the rest of the CZ75 patter pistols. The trigger return spring is much lighter and shaped differently and the U spring under the trigger bar is eliminated, as well as half the trigger bar. So your SAO SP01 will simply never be as good as the TS can be, but to get the best out of that fire control system, the hammer hooks are very important, excuse the blurry picture, but this is the stock SP01 hammer, next to the stock Shadow hammer next to the comp hammer: you can see the hooks get progressively shorter; the race hammer on my TS has very short hooks:
  11. If you want to trade those safeties for the flat ones, I'm your guy
  12. Just call Beven: http://www.gramsengineering.com/contact.php They're not listed on the website, but he'll get them to you.
  13. Are those stippled plastic grips?
  14. Really? The first time I shipped to Canada, I walked into the post office and it cost me over $30 (and several years off my life ), but the second time I used USPS.com, printed an international label from my desk and it cost less than $10.
  15. $23.57 shipped?! SOLD Address as follows. Praetorian97 ul. Astronomicheskaya 22, kv. 33 Kharkov 56989 UKRAINE I guess we should all remember to qualify "shipped" with "anywhere I can ship for five bucks!"
  16. That's why I started the Chop Shop, so we could part out pistols ourselves without talking to EAA.
  17. I'm thinking $300 shipped for the bare frame and $350 shipped complete with Hogue grips and sub 2 1/2# trigger.
  18. Just fishin' but is anyone interested in my railed Match frame?
  19. 9mm mags, I tried 40 mags loaded with 9mm and a round would get slammed in the breech pointed straight up at the worst time. I even tried tuning the feed lips to 9mm specs, still didn't work.
  20. Will's case sold pretty fast so I figured I'd throw one of mine up too: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=189557
  21. CZ slides have the barrel bushing sticking out the front on the slide, so I grind that off so the comp fits flush; I also open up the guide rod hole to accept a Tanfoglio rod which prevents the comp from turning. The Tanfoglio slides are flat on the front so a factory comp mates up perfectly. I've not made a comp from scratch (yet...), but I think the hole is drilled through the comp at a slight downward angle. I also suspect the cheap airsoft comps I've played with are just turned on a lathe because they point down slightly when screwed onto the barrel like this:
