  1. I use a TS rear on my Hunter, like e-mishka said, it's ~0.3mm wider and must be filed to fit.
  2. Me too! I told my wife "sure I bought an 870 pump and an SP01, but I had good reasons for both"

    Are you using the buffer?
  4. That looks like a clean solution
  5. So do you use one like this screwed into the racker from the top?http://www.mcmaster.com/#ball-plungers/=wf4hd1
  6. I've done a ball detent for a racker using a center punch, but I'd like a cleaner finished product, this kit looks good: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/675676/power-custom-crane-lock-ball-and-spring-kit-with-punch Anyone ever used it? What do you use?
  7. Because the SIII was supposed to be a cheaper alternative to the Stock II. So much for that
  8. My first Open gun weighs 54oz, now I have a handful of guns all the way down to 38oz and I prefer the light guns, just point and click
  9. The top three guys shooting single stack in my last match were shooting minor; I think 25% more ammo really helps balance it out. Isn't 8 shot minor dominating Revolver? In Limited you might get 2-3 more rounds, but minor doesn't really get you anything in Open.
  10. Current Tanfoglios have four 4mm holes 10mm on center.
  11. My guess is that you'd settle in at 8gr of Autocomp under a 124.
  12. It looks like the TU powders are for rifle, the A powders flake and the Ba powders are stick. I'm guessing Ba 7 1/2 would be the best bet for Open, maybe in the WAC/CFE pistol range, but not as slow as SP2/3N38. Maybe Ba 9 1/2 for non compensated guns.
  13. Here's the loading manual: http://issuu.com/grafandsons/docs/vectan_reloading_data?e=1795079/11745149
  14. SP2 is awesome for Open, Vectan still shows it on their website, but it doesn't look like any has come to the US yet. Here's more info from their website: http://www.vectan.fr/UK/range-of-powders
  15. My Y7 is a 38 and for comparison on my chrono outing with it, it made 168pf with 9.1gr of SP2 (almost identical to 3N38) under a 124gr bullet while Beer Baron uses 10.4gr of powder in the V12.
  16. Once upon a time I had a 9mm V12 on a Hunter frame, but I didn't shoot it very much. I use the lightest spring which still strips the next round, usually 8-10# for me (lighter than those which come from the factory).
  17. 124gr bullets, 115gr bullets need an absurd amount of powder to make major in the V12.
  18. 124s are a must, that 3n37 load looks like a good place to start
  19. Whenever I've experienced any trigger issues the first thing I do is back out both screws all the way; over time, as parts wear, the screws need to be adjusted to compensate.
