Since the new ruling in Steel Challenge is to allow Comps on RFPI I am going to purchase a tacsol upper for my Ruger 22/45 lower.
Need some advice. Tacsol 4 1/2" threaded or 6" threaded. Fluted or unfluted?
Which would be better? Advise is welcomed.
NO they don't have enough steam to do it reliably. I found out the hard way at the 2015 WSSC in florida.
For knockdown steel/plates i use 115gr. heads at 130 pf for more energy transfer. I use 95gr. for static steel challenge matches. You just have to ding them.
I have one question about these short comings of the Cmore lines? After all these years that the Cmores have been out, why has IRA not upgraded his product other than making the aluminum housing? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
The recoil spring was to heavy for the FM 147gr ammo. Not a biggie just use hotter ammo or lighter Sprinco White spring. Problem solved. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
You can use G3 guide rod and G4 adapter ring from Glock store. I'm using an 11lb. Flat wire ISMI on said guide rod. It works good for my Prod. loads. The 1911 spring reference is for the SPRINCO set up. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
Yes 1911 springs work to. Also Glock springs and guide rods work too. These are from my Gen 3 Glock 34. Spring is 11 lbs. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
