    Carry Optic P09

No. The adapter is the Springer 75 adapter. They may have a P09 specific now.
  2. The site block thread is 9/16X24
  3. I'd used the same front sight on the G35. No issue. Also running it on a Zev slide too.
  4. My P09 has tape and provides lots of purchase. If you clean the surface with alcohol, prior to taping, it'll stick nicely and won't move. Even before I'd went full panels, these strips had stayed in place.
  5. The CZ P-09 Suppressor Ready has a barrel length of about 5.25". I am assuming that would be legal for division. It should be. With the 35oz limit, the added length should come close, but don't think it'll go over.
  6. did you have to change the sight height from 35 slide to the 35+sight block? No I didnt.
  7. So here's a little food for thought. This comes with the caveat that I've only been a gamer for 1.5 seasons. If we adhere to the weight limit, why would one go for a smaller gun (shorter barrel) since sight radius doesn't make a difference? 35oz is 35oz regardless of which pistol is in your hands, right? I mean we're not talking about production where the SP01 has 10oz over the P09. But a longer barrel of the P09 would let one do a slightly softer load and get the same PF. Less powder equal less flip, right? P09 4.53" barrel (non-threaded model) 75 Compact 3.80" barrel Thoughts?
  8. My P09 was originally shipped as a decocker. Had two instances where the hammer was accidentally decocked in the middle of a stage. Now it's a safety only setting.

FWIW, my FF3 and plate adapter was around 1.5oz total. And after removing the rear sight, the added adapter is pretty much a wash, IMO.

I'd originally started out with the decocker, but have switched to the safety. On two occasions, I'd accidentally decocked the hammer, in a middle of the stage. There are plenty of SP01 shooters that have safely manually decocked their guns while making ready. As with the decocker mechanism, I don't see how the spring would add weight to the trigger pull.

But is that P09 with the milled slide?

It should make weight. I'm going to weight mine tomorrow, when I can grab a scale from work. Given the CO weight limite of 35oz, my gun should be slightly under it. USPSA has the P09 listed as 31oz, the Burris FF3 is listed as 1.5oz with a picatinny rail plate adapter, which will be very close to the dovetail adapter. Don't know if that includes the battery or if Burris had it weighted empty. Either way, with the rear sight removed, it could take place of the battery's weight. Even with the 33oz initial weight rumor, it was going to skirt just by it.

If kept the FS on just because I didnt want to swap it back to the factory black. LOL. Plus, the dovetail adapter causes the RDS to perch too tall for a co-witness. And lastly, I wouldn't want to be seeing two read dots thru my RDS's window. And if the RDS goes out, so be it. I'm only doing local matches.

Setting up for the provisional division: #welfareopen.
  19. I like it so far. The sight seems to track a little better. I can't compare it against a 24, since I'd never shot a 24.
  20. First comp, first stage, with the G35 with block.
  21. G35 limited. I like it a lot.
  22. You mean like this G35 sight tracker, here?
