  1. I am using the SM1, and have gotten used to it pretty well... The included throw lever on the Kahles is nice, although its not super long like some of the aftermarket units out there... the illumination is very bright, but includes a ring along with the dot... sometimes, its a little busy... I would have preferred just a dot...
  2. yes, they are both awesome get one of each
  3. I run the K6i, and purchased it from Planet Optics, who were great to deal with, and shipped out fast... I compared the glass to the Swaro Z6i, and the Kahles has slightly larger field of view, glass is just a bit clearer, and the scope is lighter, weighing just over 17 oz.
  4. CJW Several guys on squad 8 engaged the buck plate from the hip... It worked for some, and not for others... No names tho.... Roxymajor
  5. Email came from Pro.Am3Gun@gmail.com Had this important paragraph: Please save this email as the link below is your registration page where you can edit your registration details, pay and squad yourself. Click here to view your personal match management page.
  6. Check your email from March that has the Practiscore Match management page and follow it
  7. Charles, Have a question regarding rules and match DQ's: If a team member gets DQ'd, can the remaining team member continue on alone? or find a stand-in?
  8. John, What shape is the carrier latch in? Has it been modified any? Over time, folks who practice their loading will squeeze on that latch to unload the tube, and eventually it will bend out and not catch shells well. Then they bend it back some, and can occasionally be a little too much. Not sure if you've messed with it much, but its something to look at, also. Also, you said all springs were new.. Im assuming you put a new carrier spring in for the breech bolt latch?
  9. Bryan, do you have a list of folks that have signed up and are approved?
  10. So, is this ALL types of weapons, or AR platforms, 12 gauge models, and various factory pistols? Or anything under the sun
  11. Wow! That's a really light profile--it just seems to go against what I thought was necessary for an accurate 3-gun barrel. How well does it maintain accuracy after say burning through 20 or 30 rounds--like what you'd see in a stage? Razz, It does exceptionally well, when I run it properly... I never did use the heat sink, and sometimes wish that I had used it some, as the skinny portion of barrel has an ever so slight very light tan discoloration, from those fast, high round count bay stages... the heatsink would have dissipated some of that...
  12. So I got to checking, as I have an early 2005 ultralight 18" barrel... It's .550 dia under the barrel, and .750 at gas block on out... Was really hoping they would bring this profile back....still holds good accuracy after 8,000 rounds
  13. I have made a few, and am in process I making a few more... I have had to put the big production numbers on back burner for a bit to deal with some family matters.
  14. Jared Do you have a small drill press vise? If so, take a new shell catch and squeeze it in vise lightly, with the pin going up, so as not to damage it, but snug enough so it will not move when you apply pressure with drill bit. I usually spot mine in a mill, using a center drill... Another option is to remove the checkering off the original button surface with a file, which will allow you to make a small center punch mark, which your drill will follow well.
  15. Jared, The pin that is spinning can be welded. WHen you drill all the way thru, it reduces the factory crimp and fit between pin and stamping. It can be welded, carefully... Best option is to drill and tap from the side the release lever mounts, and stay away from breaking thru... This will mean you are blind tapping the hole, so clear the chips every couple of threads, to prevent them packing up
