I shot my ULMOS bolt group when it was fouled, but kept it good and wet... I believe the wear issues have been overcome with better processes, and improved coatings.... I'm looking forward to trying a new version out... It didn't take hardly any gas to cycle the aluminum unit, and keep it locked bag on an empty mag... The volume of gas that was left rushed into the Cooley brake, and made it perform well

As stated earlier, the majority of wear was on top of BC, where it rides upper receiver

So, I ran the old model back in 05 and 6... It performed flawlessly, tuned easily, and was a joy to shoot... Over time, if you shot a lot and did not clean the bolt group and lube often, the black coating would wear thru at 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock where it rides the upper receiver, and eventually would cause issues...

Got the Midway 56" bag in, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations for under $80... stitching seems robust, material is heavy on outside, and should take plenty of abuse.. Padding inside is sufficient to keep rifle optics off of the shotgun...I also sprung for the small pistol bag, to be able to quickly go 'gun up' at safe area without dragging too much stuff over to be in the way... I'll take a few pics of gear stowed in bag, and post up soon.

I popped for the 56" Midway drag bag... I've also recently aquired a +2 tube for my 10 round tube, so we'll see if the extra length fits well in the bag

Trevarm, Steve is asking the right question... If your Vmax groups good, but does not hit where you aim it, then it has same issue as many of the benellis that Kurt Miller made his fixture to correct... Your mag tube may be off center just a bit, and be in need of rework. Mark has some good points also...check your setup and let us know what you find out

Rocky Patel's making some solid aluminum dummy rounds... They are weighted well, hard anodized, an have a plastic insert for primer. I'm not sure when they will be available, but it's in the works...

Aristotle, I'm workin on the left side flag, and have a couple of ideas on what shape an size would make it work well... I plan to make a big button for left side

Hopefully, over Christmas break, I will be able to finalize the left side engage button, and get it fabbed, and start trying it out... This process is long and slow, and I hope to be able to turn out a solid unit that works great, lasts forever, and looks good to boot..

The only thing left to iron out is which coating best suits this product... Currently it is a hardened toolsteel, so it will it will rust without a coating...

Here's the final product... It is going thru testing to check fit and should be good after that.
