  1. That's the way mine is. It took about 3 weeks. Look up accurate plating, they have a pretty detailed website.
  2. Accurate plating did my frame and slide for less than $200 and it looks great. Most places charge $300.
  3. No, I've got another slide I haven't touched yet, I'll weigh it in the morning.
  4. I'd just take pics of what you want to a local smith, it'll save you time and money. Very few people do it cause I makes a big difference, most of us do it because it looks cool. Lets be honest here. Lol
  5. Nice review! It's good to see some show restraint before badmouthing a company, and it's good to here they will run outta the box contrary to all the rumors.
  6. Squirrel, I checked my nine its doesn't release the hammer. Is it one of those some do,some don't things.
  7. +1 for the bladetech doh. I already look one of those guys with a fancy gun who gets beat by the old men shooting single stack....no need to add insult to injury by having an obnoxious holster too! Lol
  8. I started with an xdm with a prp trigger in it which was nice, but one I shot a ts I had to have one. When I found it I got a guy's whole competition setup with the kadet too. But I was just shooting 3 gun. Then I started shooting uspsa so I "had" to have a .40 too ! Lol
  9. The czechmatewould be badass! Good god they are expensive though.
  10. I just can't get into the whole da/sa thing, I've tried. I'd like to try one of the ones with the short reset trigger.
  11. It's really hard to get them all to stand still for family portraits.
  12. Yes, what Corey said....and total cost?
  13. The ts isn't good for any division in idpa....that im aware of. But if you dont get a single action one id get thst short reset system from cgw or czcustom. I cant stand long double action trigger pulls.
  14. Ive took them apart and replaced parts, but no I've not done much fitting. I'll check out the video too.
  15. So with this manual, ill be able to assemble, and fit the whole gun?
  16. Who makes the best one, with the most technical specs, pics, etc?
  17. most likely the cz, it'll prolly take me a while to build the 2011. I've spent a shit ton of money for being my first year shooting, i need to slow down.....and when i say a shit ton, i mean a shit ton. I added it up the other day, and i made less than that in a year when i was younger! lol
  18. tactical sport. I don't have a 2011 built yet. So far i've got the frame, slide, and receiver. I cant imagine that I'll like it any better. I just bought a bunch of mags, and those parts in case oblahblah actually gets that ban passed.
  19. we can, and for about a grand less....that being said, i'm in the process of building a 2011 too...i cant help myself, i love to tinker.
  20. I literally shot my .40 maybe 20 rounds before i started messing with it. lol. My 9mm is my baby, after i run a lot of rounds through the 40, ill tear into that puppy next. Is yours a .40 or 9mm?
  21. Take a grinder to the checkering on the grip, throw some grip tape on it,and your good to go.....until you see all the shiny stuff on czcustoms site that is.
  22. I've shot thousands of rounds through my 9mm it's been 100% reliable, and accurate. I just got my 40 milled and hard chromed, I haven't shot it enough to form an opinion on it yet.
  23. I'm thinking a slide racker outta titanium would be pretty cool!
