  1. HI, There is no Click generated in our Racer, Or Race Master holster. The system simply does not have a part that "snaps" so no sound is created. Some are used to having that from other holster times, but it really serves no purpose. thanks saul
  2. You can try our Race Master or Racer holsters.
  3. Hi All, The Racer holster and pouches have the same exact retention system the Race Master has but instead of making it from an Aluminum body, it is made of delerin which makes it significantly cheaper. It is a fantastic more affordable alternative to the top of the line Race Master holster and pouches. Hope this helps.
  4. Your score at a stage or at a match for that matter is not affected by any means by any competitor of yours. If you shot a bad match but still managed to win, it only means others shot it worse. Mental preparation is crucial in any sport, especially in shooting. A lot of books have been written about the topic, one of which is by our very own Saul Kirsch (called Thinking Practical Shooting) which explains in detail every aspect of the sport. When you shoot a stage, you have to shoot it within your own ability. Speeding up will cost you points, and slowing down for points will cost you time. Shooters who spray and pray with the goal of "nailing a stage" typically lose out and more often than not end up somewhere down the winners list. Knowing where you stand against your competition is a positive thing only if you can keep your focus. Pressure is also not necessarily a negative thing a long as it is managed and does not go beyond its natural stress level curve where you lose out on performance of you go beyond that point. With that in mind, tracking times or hit factors mean very little since at the end of the day a match is added up by points gained by shooters on each stage. What you need to keep track on is points and thats it. There are several applications that do this, the most commonly used is "IPSCore Pro". If you are a beginner shooter, your focus should be on yourself at all times. This would not be the right time to try to beat the competition but rather you must concentrate on your own performance and perhaps get a more experienced shooter providing you with feedback on the stages you shot. Training correctly plays a vital role in what you learn (good or bad habits) and who you train with also important for your own progress. Tip of the iceberg All the best, Eli. Just to make it clear(er), by points I mean "stage points".

  6. Hi Saul, Will the cart be 3-gun friendly, with holders for both a rifle and a shotgun? Thanks, Aaron Hi Aaron, The cart is not really designed for three gun, but we may offer a rifle holder too... Not really sure yet. But it is a two wheel cart, so not huge. Saul
  7. HI Guys, thanks for your comments and interest in our new CED/DAA RangePack Pro. CED and DAA worked on this bag well over a year before launching this product. A great deal of thought went into each dimension and feature. Are we going to please everyone? Certainly not. that is reality. Some will say its too big, others with say it needs more of this or less of that. But we did our best, and this bag is pretty close to what I would consider a perfect range bag for the serious shooter with lots of gear. Yes, it is larger than the Shooter's connection range bag (or as know in Europe the CED XL bag). As for the price - yes, it is an expensive bag, no doubt. But when you see the detailing and features on it you will understand. The production cost of this bag is almost twice of what an CED XL bag costs to make, due to all those features and small quality touches. Also the material used is a finer and more expensive fabric than used in the other CED bags. I only recently starting using one myself, after 10 or more years with CED XL bags - and I am loving it! Thanks, Saul PS - I'll share a little secret with you here - there is a SUPER COOL custom made range cart in the works now to match this bag... We hope to have it ready early next year.
  8. Hi Paul, It may require a little fitting, as with all Glocks but it can be easily done - see here: Hope it helps. Eli. Got it and like it - did not require any dremmeling. Very secure until needed. Also got the belt and mag holders. Slight quibble with the mag holders though - with the G22 mags neither of the spacer options are the right thickness. The mag only fits with the smaller spacers but with the adjustment screw backed as far out at it can go and after straigthening out the spring tensioners a bit - and then the spacers are so loose in the holder when there is no mag that it is in danger of falling out. Any other suggestion? HI, we have found that for the glock mags the narrow side spacer is the one to use - but there is a problem with the pressure spacer (the spring loaded one). the thin one is too think, and the thick on too thick... what you need to do it remove about 1mm from the front face of the thick spacer - than the fit is perfect for the glocks. that can easily be done on a belt sander - or, beter yet a mill. If you are unable to do it - email me your address and how many you need, and I will post some off. thanks saul
  9. thanks for your comments, much appreciated. We continue to work hard, and have some new exciting projects in the pipeline... Regarding the magnet on the pouches , CED will be receiving some of those next week , and I am sure will hav them posted on their site in a week or two. Thanks, Saul and the DAATeam
  10. Hi Paul, It may require a little fitting, as with all Glocks but it can be easily done - see here: Hope it helps. Eli.
  11. Neomet, actually, we will in the future tap all the pouches, so a magnet can be added any time. but for now, that has not been done. it is pretty easy to thread an M5 hole anyway... and we do offer now the magnet alone, with a suitable M5 12mm screw, which is perfect for mounting it onto that hole. thanks for your comments and feedback, Saul
  12. Randy, there is no need for a bracket on the RM pouches. the assembly is so strong and rigid to the base that it is now possible to assemble the magnet directly to the body of the pouch. there is a 4mm hole in the front lower edge of the pouch - which is there to allow access to the hex key if you assemble at 90 degrees. however this hole also doubles as a mounting point for a magnet. the easiest thing to do is to thread it M5, then use a 12mm M5 screw to mount one of our super strong magnets directly to the pouch. Starting next week we will offer the pouch already fitted with a magnet, in additional to offering just the screw and magnet for those who already have the pouch and want to just add the magnet. Saul
  13. Yes, but on those rare stages where you have to insert the mag into the pouch - well - that's what the magnetic pouches are for! you can snap on the mag quick as you like - way faster than you can insert it into any pouch... that is what I have always used. never ever plan to have to insert a mag into a pouch at speed. Just use a magnet for that. thanks for your comments on our communications - we do our best. We are part of the shooting sports - all of us active shooters, so it is easy to stay in touch that way. feel free to email me if you need any additional info Saul
  14. Hi guys, thanks for the early comments on our new pouches. As you may imagine, I am far from objective when speaking about this pouch, having spent 6 months developing it, and bringing it to market. And I do think the result is pretty slick... The pressure from the back, rather then side to side really make the difference and makes the release so much smoother. the Aluminum structure make it firmer, and allowing it to lock up in any position - and I do mean LOCKED. you will not get these to budge! A lot of attention was given to this - the ball joint connection point is machined to fit INTO the side wall of the pouch, so that even if the center screw is allowed to become loose - the pouch still cannot spin... those who have one - give that a try - loosen the centre screw - and you will see it still cannot turn. I read the comment that the single stack spacer should have been included. please allow me a response: yes, this is an expensive pouch. no arguing that. But are you aware that every one of the pieces use (except the inner spacers) are machined aluminum parts! The pouch body is in fact machined from all 6 sides! Each one! To make one of these pouches costs probably more than 4 or 5 times than the cost of one plastic pouch - and even at $60, the margins for all involved, from DAA through the distribution network is actually very tight. Adding another spacer, which only perhaps 5% of our customers would use, did not seem like a good idea, while we were desperately trying to reduce production costs... Some suggested the pouch should have been cut open in the front, like the CR.... I tried that, and decided against it. cutting a lower window there is totally unnecessary, as the radios in the part makes for a smooth transition from the mag tube to the side of the pouch - nice and easy to slide your index finger down as you draw the mag... a cut down would create a ledge, which your finger would hit every time. believe me, I tried it. Also - cutting it open in the front would weaken the structure of the pouch body allot, making it more prone to damage when going prone, or hitting a barricade. Yes, the insertion of the mag is not as smooth as one might hope - but once you get used to inserting it in the correct angle it is no longer a problem. Also - keep in mind that the purpose of a pouch is to efficiently draw OUT the mag not place it in.... Anyway, keep your comments coming, and us know what you think. Good shooting everyone, Saul
  15. Has anyone experienced loosing zero on the c-more when tilted sideways? I think I had it twice now, not sure why. Thanks, Eli.
  16. Updates are coming soon - stay tuned on doublealpha.biz Should be shipping in early May. Thanks, Eli.
  17. Hi All, Has anyone found a solid solution to digitally/mechanically count rounds? Thanks.
  18. Hi, I just picked up this thread... Have you got this sorted? In case you have any questions - please email us at osc@doublealpha.biz Thanks, Eli.
  19. Thank you. I'm going to order one. Hi guys, They are available in the US on ceddaa.com Thanks.
  20. Hi JL, just small things, more related to streamlining production and assembly than function on the range, that has not changed much from the first samples... We continue to improve the product as we go - and several small refinements have been made during the past year to keep improving it, many based on customer feedback on this forum and others. we just got in a new production of parts, which include many small improvements, for instance: 1. the new safeties will prevent much of the movement up which was still possible when safety was on in earlier models. 2. the ball joint socket has been modified to allow more range of movement downwards - almost an extra full inch, and that without lengthening the rod at all. 3. the tension screw head has been made a little smaller, and the OAL a little longer, so it is less lightly to come out even when left loose 4. a bunch of small refinements to make assembly easier and faster. Great to read all the positive reviews - thanks for that, saul
  21. Hi JL, I've been using mine for just over a year now (mine is one of the early prototypes) and no problems at all, I love it. Not sure you will want my "objective" opinion though.... LOL thanks for all the positive comments Nemesis Lead - you and I am in email contact and I am helping you sort out your problem. from the sound of it, you got the wrong insert, but you could wait until we resolve you issues before posting negative reviewed on the forum, no?! anyway, good shooting all saul
  22. Thanks Peter, I appreciate your post, and happy to read it is working as it should. that extra long 2.5mm cutter has actually proven itself useful in other ways too since then... saul
  23. You should never have to cut the belt, or send it back. take a look at this clip: if you had tried this - you would have fitted it on the belt in seconds. Oh well, next time... thanks for choosing our holster Saul
