  1. Please contact me directly, I think I know what the issue is (shooting while the timer beeps). eli@doublealpha.biz Thanks, Eli.
  2. We are just about to finish the Bluetooth protocol (had to upgrade it). Apps will be coming soon.
  3. We will soon release some cool looking silicone skins along with screen protectors. Keep an eye on our website.
  4. Good news - we just released the Mac Updater - http://www.shotmaxx.com/support/ Hope it helps, Eli.
  5. HI Guys, regarding the draw issue from the Suede lined holsters - yes, this is true that the PDR holster when new can be a little "grabby". this improved quickly with use though, as is the case with all leather or suede lined holsters. this break-in period can be shortened using some leather slick product of even just some silicone spray. Regarding the commend that the gun will stick unless drawn straight up - true - for the same reason as mentioned above. and more likely on guns which slides and frames which offer wide flat side areas, like a 2011.... but again - once broken in - this goes away. none of that is an issue with the PDR PRO - there is no suede lining the gun release is much smoother. EngineerEli- you say I did not reply to your request for info. sorry you got that impression. I directly recommended to you the new PRO as you mentioned that adjustability was your main concern, and the PRO offers MUCH more than the PDR did. it's not two months, but two weeks until most model PDR-PRO holsters start shipping. Allow me to address the "closing the grip on the gun while in the holster" comment. this is true. our holster design offers a higher inside support wall than the Bladetech does, which does mean that in the holster you cannot place your thumb on the guns safety. but this is gone intentionally, and we believe in the design! placing your thumb on the guns safety while still in the holster is never a good idea can lead to releasing the safety IN the holster - and that brings you a lot closer to an accident! with the PDR and PDR-PRO you and close your entire grip on the gun in the shooting grip, while keeping your thumb high on the holster body, you draw the gun up and out of the holster, the safety of the gun clears the holster first, and you can bring your strong hand thumb down onto the safety as the gun comes out. Of course there are various schools of thought on this, but this is ours. thanks for your comments, and best regards from Vegas and ShotShow. Saul

  8. Hi guys, The SHOTMAXX timers are now available from CED (www.cedhk.com), Speed Shooters and Shooters Connection in the US.
  9. They are now available in the usa at www.cedhk.com. Within days also at shootersconnections and speedshoots Saul
  10. Yes, this is the same as on the CED7000 and CED7000PRO. However we are working on a new feature so that the SHOTMAXX is activated by "listening" to another timer's beep signal and being activated automatically. Stay tuned for updates on our website. Thanks, Eli.
  11. This feature is being worked on now. We hope to have some good news soon. Bear in mind that the software is upgradable so all models will be able to upgrade to the newest and greatest once released. Thanks, Eli.
  12. I am sure you will enjoy your new SHOTMAXX. Keep us posted of your experience. Thanks, Eli.
  13. Hi guys, My apologies, we have some technical problem on the website - it does not seem to be sending out the in-stock email notifications as it should. We are on the case. The timers are BACK IN STOCK And correct - the SHOTMAXX will hold a single string in memory, up to 100 shots. External apps will be able to retain any number of strings in memory as Eugene mentioned above. We are currently working on the last bits of the Bluetooth protocol and will be sending out the API to our developers. Thanks, Eli.
  14. zachvu - they will be back in stock, albeit limited, at the second half of this week. Make sure you click on the notify me when back in stock button on this link to get an instant notification when they are available: http://www.doublealpha.biz/shotmaxx/shotmaxx-shot-timer We have over a few hundred customers waiting for it - first comes, first served. I just wish we had more stock but we will pretty soon. Thanks, Eli.
  15. Hi guys, The timer has two different buzzer sound types: Type 2 (loud) Type 1 (softer) - this one has a different frequency which is not as high as Type 2. Try this out with those who have problems hearing "Type 2" and see how it goes. Thanks, Eli.
  16. Hi guys, Thanks for the feedback. We are currently working on a few apps, it will take a little time to publish but they will be available soon. Also, the APIs are free to everyone to use. In other words, anyone who is interested in developing an application for the SHOTMAXX timer can do that If you like the timer, please leave us a review on the product page here: http://www.doublealpha.biz/shotmaxx/shotmaxx-shot-timer Thanks, Eli.
  17. Guys, I would not recommend extending the tubes further while running on the machine. Keep in mind that the brass has to lift the dropper assembly ( and ALL the bullets resting on it) each time - and too much weight up there can cause problems and extra wear. a better idea is as someone suggested, to buy some long plastic tubes and use those to quickly load up the mini's tube assembly each 100 rounds. regarding the comments about price and "expensive for what's in the box", I do hear what you are saying. but please keep in mind that there is almost $35,000 of tooling costs to make those plastic parts you see there. they are all customer made, from the tubes to the 6 plastic parts making up the base and head of the two size magazines. that an investment that needs to be recovered. and since this is not an Iphone, there are not going to be millions of them sold... Please keep that in mind, if you would. thanks for the positive feedback. PS - what do you think of the idea of using a similar system for brass? if you did not have case feeder - that would be a pretty good second option to have... Saul
  18. BH, i am sorry, but i dont follow. we do offer conversion kits for the Mr.BF. for the mini - all parts are caliber specific, so - you would need a new system for a new caliber (except for the fact that the tube magazine is the same for the 40 and 45) saul
  19. HI All, it works beautifully, but I do agree with the comments that it's not a complete solution. Good comparison - the RF100 and the Vibra prime. I would go with the RF100 (and do...) but, if I could not afford an RF100, or chose not to spend that much money on my reloading gear, I would be extremely pleased to have a Viba-prime... (and did, back then...) Same logic applies to the new Mini Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA. We do not advertise it as being better than the full system. of course, without the collator, you will need to fill the tubes. But, as anyone who loads with a bullet feeder can tell you - it does make the loading faster and easier. It is does work! perfectly! its so simple and reliable that it is a pleasure to use with any bullet type. so this new Mini Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA is another option. A less expensive one, and the best option out there for a limited budget reloader. thanks for your interest! Saul Kirsch, Double-Alpha Academy
  20. Why are you worried to use your RM holster? Once it is locked, it will stay in until you release the safety lever.
  21. If you post your hits buddy, that would help to see/analyse what you did. Triggering does not make anyone shoot good, maybe look good, but nothing more
  22. Have you resolved the issue? If not, send us an email to osc@doublealpha.biz and we will try to help.
  23. HI PHX, You can email me at info@doublealpha.biz any time. I believe the problem lies with more than one generation of Caspain frames! we have seen some larger than others, and while they have roughly the same profile, the one is a few tenths larger than the other... we fit the sample we have, which is, I believe, one of the smaller ones. it is easier to enlarge if need be, while fitting. it is impossible to go the other way. Firts fit the width of the slot, after removing the slide lock. if you can force the gun is already this tell me that just a few passes with a flat file will allow the gun to slide in. only after that address the issue of the slide lock. For the Caspain, you shoudl be able to modify the slide lock with a file, but a dremmel is always an option. All in all, this should not take more than 10min to do. If you are in doubt about what you received email me a picture of the insert block and slide lock first, for me to confirm that it is a Caspian. thanks Saul
  24. Thanks for kind comment and reviews. We are proud of our Racer pouches, and doubly so reading your reviews. By the way, i am considering making a dedicated single stack version of the racer pouches. What do you guys think? Should we take the plunge and make the investment? We do offer single stack adaptors for the RM and Racer pouches, but a slim dedicated single stack pouch would just be so cool. Any comment would be appreciated. Saul
