MMA is still a fringe sport. How many states actually sanction it? I'm sure Zuffa is making some serious money. Boxing you hear about the big paypay but there are a lot of guys fighting for peanuts. MMA is big in Japan and popular with a segment of the US population maybe in a few years it will be big but not right now. Hell pro wrestling gets better numbers. As far as Fedor being overrated I'd agree. He was good in Pride but so was Cro Cop and Shogun and we saw what happened to them in the last couple fights. They get a 3 or 4 win streak and built up to be unbeatable.....until some new kid comes along and knocks their ass out.

How did he step up to anything?? He was pissed because he wasn't getting enough money so he took his football and went home. He got KOed 2 times by Chuck and wants more money??? The last bunch of fights have proven that any given day any fighter can get his A$$ whipped.

Most of the fans aren't smart enough to figure out that it is all about the money. I started running 9 major before they dropped the length restriction and have run it at 175 pf with mixed brass no issues. Like I said find a Gunsmith that can build the gun right and you have no issues. EGW built mine and it ran right out of the box with STI Mags. When we finally convinced the BOD to do away with the 1.250 length requirement I found the STI mags would not work with the shorter rounds. I lucked out because my big stick was an SV and worked flawlessly. Switch the other tubes to SV and gee no issues. My ammo runs a 172-174 PF. I'm sure Jim is a good guy and can build a gun, but there are too many good smiths out there building perfectly reliable 9 major guns for a silly statement like 9 major is a bad idea. I guess since a Winchester 9 case blew it is all bad. I've seen lots of other calibers and makes of brass fail. I guess since someone had an issue with this or that brand of car all the cars of that brand are junk??? Personally I think you guys should all switch to 38 super/SC or TJ and leave all the 9mm brass for me. Find a good gunsmith that knows how to set a gun up and it won't matter if it is 9 super, 40 or 45.

9 Major works if the gun is set up with proper ejector and an aftec. Mags is a very simple issue use SV tubes. STI mags suck for 9 major unless you want to get into screwing around with spacers and tuning. Buy the SV tubes and don't look back. I used to sort brass by headstamps. Now I don't waste my time. It was only for Chrono consistency anyway. I see guys with super .40 and every other caliber have issues. Most of the time it is the guy that keeps tinkering with his equipment. Get the gun running and leave the damn thing alone. I run the light RM and my slide is seriouly lightened so that isn't the issue.

Ah the age old debate of then verus now.....

Turning the wheels has nothing to do with where the car is going in a crash if it is in park it will go in a straight line from the force applied, simple physics. It is two fold: to provide some cover if things go to hell in a hurry and the wheels end up turned out as we generally try to point the front end out offset to the violator to give us some room to walk up to the car without having the passing vehicles run us over. Most drivers don't have the common sense to come in out of the rain let alone actually move over on the road and give any room to emergency vehicles.

Dump the Varget and swithc to IMR 4064 42.5 works well. Never culd get varget to group as well as 4064 or even RL15.

Let's see maybe most used gun on super squad. To dominate I would say it should have uh, maybe at least won the match...didn't happen. I'm sure the fact that these guys are some of the best shooters had nothing to do with it, it was all the CZ. I guess since you have been shooting a CZ for several years you should be the dominate production shooter around area 8???

Flex does that mean I can't post that when we finally get pissed off and take over Canada we get good beer and hunting and they get hi caps? Probably happen right after we make Mexico a state.. hell half that country is all ready here should be lots of open land down there for a nice range.

The trigger can be tuned to be really sweet. I would shoot mine in production if it wasn't in .40. I just don't feel like pissing around loading minor .40 when 9 is the ticket. EGW does a sweet job on the LDA. Don't get stupid and try to take it apart any further than a field strip....it is a PITA to get back together. The biggest issue is that Para never really pushed it as a production gun. They tried the LE angle and it never really caught on.

Flex, The 9mm was shooting factory ammo and had a Burwell trigger job. The 40 was both factory and relaods didn't matter. Gun was stock. VBS, Death jam those that kill your match....in this case a string of jams which would cause you to get your ass kicked by a guy with a muzzle loader!

Only problem I've seen is the death jams. I really hoped that smith would finally get an auto right but 2 out of 2 at the match was enough to make me switch to the well proven glock. It was painful to watch in a match and would have been deadly in real life.
