I am looking to upgrade a few parts on my Springfield Armory P9. I have mags from EAA that I use. But when it comes to extended thumb safeties, slide stops, magwells for my P9, I am curious what company one uses for this. CZ has some custom shops, but I don't know of any EAA "custom" parts. Anybody with some ideas to me? I appreciate it.....

Hey all... Just curious if anyone here has used Tangfolio/EAA gun parts on a Springfield P9. I use EAA mags. So I know they work. I am more intersted in magwells, hammers, sights, etc. any help would be appreciated.

Square Deal Powder Measure problem
LakeshoreShooter replied to LakeshoreShooter's topic in General Reloading
Thanks Tom. I believe that's exactly what I will do. I tinkered with it a while today and just got more frustrated. So, I'll give Dillon a call on Monday. Thanks again! Paul G. -
Square Deal Powder Measure problem
LakeshoreShooter replied to LakeshoreShooter's topic in General Reloading
I have not checked those fixes. I will check these offerings. Excellent reply, I appreciate that!! Paul G. -
I have been reloading for 6 years. All of those years have been spent with my Lee Anniversary Single stage press. A few of my shooting buddies have been on me for the last few years to get "progressive." Long story short....one of the guys upgraded, and I inherited his "Square Deal." He boxed it up and gave it to me telling me to just read the instructions. "It's an easy press to set up." Well, I got it out and set it up to the Powder measure. Turned the adjustment bolt a few times and started getting powder in the primed case I put on there. Wow! great. A few times more and I was sold. This was the Sh*t. Well, in a few more strokes I noticed the absence of Powder. What?!! I checked to see if anything fell off or broken.......nope? So, I figured it had to be the adjustment with the plastic wing nut/spring set up. That's where I am now. The description in the instructions seemed a bit elusive. "Press the charge handle forward and tighten the spring just enough to be slightly compressed." Or something close to that. So, I tinkered a bit, and now I'm stumped. Is there something I'm missing here? Hoping it's something some other "Sqaure Deal" owners have had to conquer. Thanks for your input! Paul G.

Just bought an Edge in 40 S&W.....
LakeshoreShooter replied to LakeshoreShooter's topic in 1911-style Pistols
HSMITH....thanks. I'll go look at the mother site. And, rider82...I will certainly do that. Thanks!! -
I have been shooting a Glock-35 in production for 4 years, and want to spread my wings into Limited. So I strated looking around for a limited gun. I know...a G-35 can make an awesome Limited gun. But I just wantede to make a clean start in a new division. Anyway, I got the gun used, but like new with one mag. Which leads me to my question. This leads me to my question, and or question"s". Besides a new holster, what would I need to be at at least "adequate." I went to (instinctively), and saw they were having a "Special" on 140mm mags. I put them in my mailbox, and went to checkout, ant then that's when I had the thought to come here. My buddies have opinions, and I respect them. But none of them shoot limited. Well, one used to, but with his Glock. Don't get me wrong love glock's I have a bunch of them. I went with an Edge, just basically because, I wanted to. So, I am seeking the knowledge of Limited shooters with an Edge (no pun intended), to do it right from the start. I have my own idea's of course. But hopefully I will get some diverse answers here. Also let you sound off on your package. Again, no pun intended

I shoot a Glock 35 in Production and have done so for a few years. I just started shooting L-10 ans SS. Guess I'm just in the mood for a change and have this thought (that doesn't seem to want to go away) to run a Para LDA in Production. I have only seen one other guy using one lately in my area, but that was last year. Is it just a dumb idea? I don't have a problem with ny G-35...just an itch I guess. Seems like if springed right, the LDA should be a good performer. Anybody else think that???

.38 Super Newbie. Does Anyone Load To Carry?
LakeshoreShooter replied to LakeshoreShooter's topic in Miscellaneous BEginners
Thanks Clyde. Flexmoney, you were right on the money(pardon the pun). I was basically looking for a little info for practice fodder reloads. I would NEVER, NEVER, EVER trust a reload in a firefight. I don't belive I ever mentioned that. I spoke of the CorBon Ammo for carry purposes specifaclly hoping to avoid the reload for carry replies. I'm glad you looked into what I actually wrote. Lesson learned. Thanks. -
I just ordered a Colt XSE Lgtwt Commander in .38 Super. I have heard a ton of good things about this XSE/.38 Super combo as a great marriage for size weight and controlability. I have never loaded for the Super. I shoot USPSA Production but know that the .38 Super is monsterously popular for the open guys and gals. I am going to carry it as CCW. I am pretty sure the CorBon ammo will suit my needs. Any suggestions on a good recipe for matching the performance of the Corbon 115gr/1425fps, and the 125gr/1350fps loads? Thanks

I am considering another purchase for concealed carry. I have an array of handguns that I carry already from a .45 commander to a compact 9mm. with a snubby revolver in there and a few .40S&W's as well. So, why do I need another carry gun? Because Thomas Jefferson said so!!! OK. my real question is for anyone carrying or have shot a model 32 in .357sig. I think the caliber is a bit still underrated as it doesn't seem to have a big following yet. I know it's popular. My research shows it should be a killer(litteraly). But is the Corbon 1425fps JHP manegable in the 32? I have shot a model 31 with a couple magazines of Lawman ammo from speer, and a few mags of FMJ something-or-other in the 31. But the 32 seems a better(smaller) package for CCW. Any help on the 32???? Thanks

I am looking to buy ANOTHER pistol. I started looking through the latest issue from CDNN and seen the 5943's, and 5946's, and 4043's and began wondering if anyone out there uses these for prod. class? I mean, if you clean up the trigger in a 5943(or 46) wouldn't that be a descent gun? I'm just trying to put the "real" world into play here. I ordered a 5943 yesterday, and want to try it. Should I just keep shooting the plastic guns...is it just to Old School? I know Goloski just joned onto S&W and shooting an M&P9. But, something tells me to be different...any thoughts?

Learn something new everyday. Thanks for the heads up Jasonub! What's up with the low shooter? Mine shot pretty much POA right out of the box. pf

Info On Para P16 Signature ?
LakeshoreShooter replied to LakeshoreShooter's topic in 1911-style Pistols
OK. I emailed Para on Tues. and got a reply today from Caroline at the "info@paraord.com" These people(Para customer service)are great! I found out that the (for reference my pistol was made Sept. 11th, 1997) "SJ" prefix was for a P-16 and the prefix "TJ" was for the P-14. No other meaning than that. And yes, after the Signature was made for a few thousand units...they changed the name to "Limited" the Signature was the same gun that became the Limited. Just a Corporate decision to change the name. Take Care!!
