  1. I didn't realize you were Shooter Girl either! Sorry.

    Matt Mink!!!

Do you shoot outside as well? I've found it harder to see the sights inside sometimes as well.
  3. Sounds like the recoil spring isn't getting the slide back into battery.
  4. Ditto on the UM. I'm now using Frank Garcia's Xtreme mag pouches and like them a lot.
  5. Thanks Matt. I should have stated that I only intend to put ports at the end of the barrel and not in the slide cut-out because I don't have a blast shield for the C-More. What would you suggest? Here's two examples:
  6. I’m messing with a non-competitive “Open” Glock just for fun/practice. I don’t want to spend a lot of $ to build a real Open gun, so please spare me those suggestions. It’s a G22 slide with a G35 barrel, Carver mount and a C-More. The G35 barrel extends past the G22 slide and I’ll have my smith put some ports in it. I’m looking for suggestions for the port configuration. For example, Magna-Port makes ports that are a series of small holes. Federal after-market Glock barrels have two large cross-sections cut in their ported barrels. Ports in competitive Open guns are generally large round holes. Any suggestions/experiences? Thanks.

    Broken Striker

A broken striker may still work, but it problably won't ingnite hard or high primers.
  8. Congrats to Erik Lund (Bear1142) for getting his GM card in Limited!
  9. BE - Do you still use tape over one eye or shut it? If you shut it, do you always shoot with one eye or do you use two eyes on some types of targets where you use both eyes? Thanks for your thoughts.

    ISMI springs

Matt - the 13 or 15 lbs spring should work in a G35 shooting major loads - correct?
  11. Thanks Chris. I'm considering it only for very close, multiple targets.
  12. I shoot with both eyes open with my Limited and Production guns. Unlike many shooters, I find long/difficult shots easlier with both eyes open than with one eye only. It's probably the slower pace of long/difficult shots that give me the time (no rushed feeling) to clearly see the front sight. However, for very close, multiple targets, I sometimes loose the front sight in the flurry. I was practicing today with three targets (2-6 yards) that were closely spaced. For my last two strings (before I ran out of ammo), I shut one eye and seemed to see far more of the front sight than with both eyes open. I didn't have enough ammo to really see if this method worked consistantly, but I'll give it a try next practice session. Does anyone do this or have tried this? Thanks for your thoughts.

    ISMI springs

I tried those springs both ways - no luck. The newer ones I got from Chris work fine. BTW - you're shooting AL State, right?

    ISMI springs

I got a couple of 13 lbs springs from them about 6-8 months ago that would NOT function in my G35. I bought one from Chris Patty recently and it works fine. Go figure.

    A better price for...

Spook - see this thread. For $25 you can get a polished and tuned 3.5 lbs connector from CGR. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11865
  16. Also see if your grip screws are overtight/overlong and touching the mags.
  17. So did OJ also have friends in the government? What about the thugs that attached the truck driver in the LA riots with a brick - did they have powerful friends in the government? Our justice system is the worst - except for all the other sytems out there. You say you're not a conspriracy theorist, but it sure sounds like it to me.
  18. SS - were on the Chatahoochee?
  19. A stock 34 barrel will not dorp into a 35 slide, but you can buy a conversion barrel that will from Federal or Lone Wolf.

    CGR Connector

Got the connector yesterday and stuck it in my G35. It's very nice. If a 3.5 lbs connector costs $15, then why not spend an extra $10 for the prep'ed connector? I know I have more that $10 worth of my time in tweaking my connectors and they're not as good as this one. Thanks Matt. Highly recommend . . .
  21. Martha's in Federal court because of the nature of the charges (securities). The Federal system now has rather rigid sentencing guidelines for the judges - not a ton of lee way. Also, the Federal system has basically removed parol, so the convicted generally serve at least 80%+ of the sentence. I don't wish anyone a prison term, but trust in the public market is paramount to our economic system.
  22. I'd just suggest that you find a good smith that can make sure the EZ Loader is tuned correctly.
