I shoot with both eyes open with my Limited and Production guns.
Unlike many shooters, I find long/difficult shots easlier with both eyes open than with one eye only. It's probably the slower pace of long/difficult shots that give me the time (no rushed feeling) to clearly see the front sight.
However, for very close, multiple targets, I sometimes loose the front sight in the flurry.
I was practicing today with three targets (2-6 yards) that were closely spaced. For my last two strings (before I ran out of ammo), I shut one eye and seemed to see far more of the front sight than with both eyes open. I didn't have enough ammo to really see if this method worked consistantly, but I'll give it a try next practice session.
Does anyone do this or have tried this? Thanks for your thoughts.
