  1. I will have to say it has helped me a lot. You ask a question and get some really good responses. It has helped a lot on equipment problems and troubleshooting.
  2. Welcome Allan....Thought you were on here already.....I find this forum to be loaded with information on anything and everything, so have fun in here. JimP
  3. I use the Tapatalk from my iPad and it works very well. I use it for multiple forums and they all work without any issues.
  4. Not too worried. It did let one of my bad scores in, but either way works for me. Shooting a classifier match this weekend. Hope to bring it way up for next month now that I have the STI....
  5. I like it. The raptor lets me bring a bike or two with me. I only have one with me so I can have a table in the garage for gun maintenance and cleaning....
  6. Dry fire with the Czeckmate. Will take it to the range this weekend. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?fzvujt
  7. I have had weekend with the STI Aperio, which has the sight tracker. I bought it on a Thursday and had it shipped to me. I picked it up last Saturday and took it straight from the box and shot in a match Sunday. I will have to say that I really like the sight tracking. You always see the front sight. That being said it also had the effect on me to not let the gun settle before second shot. On the first stage I shot, my sights were off about 4" so I had to take my time and really concentrate on the steel. Second stage I let it go. I found I was shooting EXTREMELY fast but was high since I was not letting the gun settle. The third stage was on for me. I found the sweet spot for my sights and second shot. I am a new shooter and have been shooting CZ TS up until now and the sight tracking was really fast for me. I stayed orientated on the front sight the whole time. I am very happy with the Aperio and will have to have a custom version now.
  8. I had the same issues at first. I had to convert all of mine first. I use iVI, it works good for me. Once converted I can get them on iMovie with no problems. Once you get it worked out it does some great video editing.
  9. His is a good video of my daughter shooting her CZ75 Compact with Kadet top end.....We are going to let her shoot the Czeckmate this weekend. She is dry firing it now.
  10. Just wanted to thanks to Corey and crew at Shooters Connection for getting me set up with my new new limited blaster and gear. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?fb24nx
  11. My new limited setup from Corey at Shooters Connection.....going to shoot in a match tomorrow without a shot ever fired from it. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?0m3tns
  12. Here is the Kadet I put together for my daughter. SA trigger on a Compact frame. Shoots great. She has her own belt and holster as well. Got her a blue training Cz Compact to practice her draw with. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?1gtagf
  13. It shouldn't. I drove from Alabama to Kentucky 2 weeks ago to shoot, so it is not having any effects as of yet. I am looking for an SUV that gets better fuel milage than the F-250. If I get one then it will be cheaper to drive.
  14. Thats what I am running. Sorry about that....Pinwheel on Backbone.....
  15. Anytime....I have a few of them..... I will take a picture with more of them tonight....You can pick....
  16. I did the same on my 4x4's. I only grabbed 3 at a time.
  17. I originally had 2 4x4 and 2 3x3's on my belt. I have smaller hands and am new at the sport. I had no problem with either one of them. Was actually easy to get the shells out. This week I got a Twins belt (2 at a time caddie) and found it was actually easy to load two at a time. I use strong hand and found you have to turn shotgun over and put the butt high on you to get an accurate loading. I like them all. The Twins feels faster but i could grab 3 to 4 out of the other and load rarely smooth too. I still keep a 3x3 on my belt for slugs or high count reloads. I would recommend getting at least one of each or try them to see what feels more natural to you. I also use a 38 belt so I have a lot of room. I am trying to get a smaller belt but you know how that goes.....
  18. I am a real bad addict. I am six weeks in and have shot one to two matches every weekend. I shot 3 one week. It is a lot of fun and the people are great. Welcome to the forum.
  19. I like to bring: 200 Pistol 200 Rifle 100 Bird 20 Slug Like previous post it also depends on the match. You should be able to get a shot count from the club website or match website. I bring this much or more sometimes. I have had mags drop in the mud and don't want to shove dirty ammo in the pistol so I grab another mag out of the bag and load it up. Had a surefire fail on me and when I dropped it out the follower stuck and 40 rounds fell in the mud. I try to double the shot count as well. I may just leave the overages in the truck but if I need them they are there.
  20. Ok. I have my short "legal" mag bases on this evening and got 22 in the mags easily. Happy that I am legal again. Glad I took the measuring tape out. I only use the shadow for 3gun but was a 1/4" long. All good on my CTS. 20 40's in those. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?x5i34q
