I took a phillips screw driver and hammer and drove the bearing in just a little bit ant it solved the problem.....I had powder everywhere before I did this.

Got it figured out.....I took a phillips screwdriver and hammer and slightly pushed the bearings on the bottom of the plates in. Once I done that it stopped the jerking motion that threw my powder all over. Then when the handle is down i adjusted the two adjustments at the bottom that index. These needed adjusted about every 3-400 rounds to make sure it stayed the same. My press and I are VERY new at this and it seems to be putting out good for me.

I do cut the index finger and thumb back.

I am using a football receivers glove. It is pretty good....Get good feel and has a little rubber on it that keeps the glove from slipping. I got it at walmart....Riddel

Wife is shooting MG147 @ 1.15 OAL with no problems......I think we need some pics.......Sounds more like recoil spring / extractor / Mag spring issue to me.....Pretty typical stuff.....I would imagine all of us have set our guns/mags up after we got then to keep this from happening......

I wrote in the other day about wearing a glove. I have bad psoriasis on my hands and I have to wear one or bleed all over my gun. They said it was legal. He also told me to carry the email to majors with me in case I was approached about it.

Just got my press tonight. Running #8 and having idea issues with indexing as well.....I am going to try to troubleshoot and then call too....Otherwise press is great....

My 13 year old daughter shoots an CZ Czechmate open gun and does well with it. I have tried everything and if you don't want to put her in open gun then the M&P has the shortest trigger reach and works well for kids and women that can't reach the trigger.

New magwell for the wife's Shadow....

Good directions CeeZer!! I used the dermal and the abrasive pad to buff it. The finger nail sander looks like a good idea.....Have to get in my wife's bag...... link I have found these pads to be good for a lot of things. I buffed ALL of my internals with them.

Seems like mine was about 2500 as well.....Latest report is that my 2nd factory spring needs replaced again....lol.....May try to do the cutting on heavy spring....Or change extractor........

I found a couple thousand at Sinclairs.....they sent me magnums though. I sent them an email and they got the right ones out today. They may still have some more if you want to pay the HAZ shipping.

I just ordered one in KY that says "3Gunr" waiting on it to get in.

There are also other things that go with pushing the mag release button. You should have it up and in front of you watching the one mag drop and the next go in. So using strong had thumb is typically the way to go. It came natural to me for some reason. For my wife, once she went to training she is getting better with it and finger length is a problem for her.

Bob, It is good to see someone new in the area shooting. I live in Livermore and started this year. My wife will be shooting Sat as well....I am out of town. I have stages set up at my place with targets and a TexasStar. If you ever want to practice let me know.
