Opps....Mine are all wearing at the end of the dust covers....But I use mine so I could care less about the finish...lol....except the chrome ones....blitz!!

I just started my 13 year old daughter out from 22 cricket to pistols. She started with a CZ 22 Kadet but wanted a gun that later she could compete with. So I let her handle about 11 different pistols I had and she liked the CZ Czeckmate because it has the slide racker and also the dot scope. I took her to the range. She shot it like a champ. The weight tired her after a while. I started making her do ALOT of dry firing....She hated that....LOL.....but she can get on target good with it and can get the slide back. The recoil is not bad at all. She is shooting minor 147gr with it and has shot up to 150 round in a trip to the range. She really likes it. She is very responsible with the gun and is learning to break it down and maintain it as well.

Hum....i talked to Rob earlier this year and he said it was because it just didn't fit into any class good. It is 40 so you don't have the mag capacity and it can't shoot limited since it has the comp on it. I have had nothing but good to say about it. I want a dot on it. It is fast and flat. I am looking for someone to put mount on it now.

I have about 7 CZ pistols and I can't say anything negative about any of them....They are great guns....

Thats why i keep a red rig and blue rig....I live in Owensboro and don't need took out by accident.....Those college fans are fierce.....lol

I am out of the country right now....be back Tuesday....It is a flat spring and I have not been able to get mine out as of yet...I have had to clean around it.... To me it is one of the best guns I have ever shot....I am going to get a dot on it and put in open,,.....It is 40 and I loose a few rounds but it would be worth it...

the two of mine have held up well as far as coating.....not a scratch on them and they have had quite a bit of range time..... the CZ Champion is coated same way and it shows 0 wear....

I didn't read all of the thread but I have a bunch of guns and want to shoot them all. I am not worried about points or class or anything but the fact I can pick up ANY gun and be able to shoot it effectively. In the next month I will shoot 3 Limited guns / 1 open / 1 production / 1 Single stack. Like a lot of things on this forum.....the individual has to realize what he wants out of the sport....does he want to win....does he want to place ..... does he want to have fun.....or does he want to be a good shooter with whatever he picks up..... I got in this sport at the beginning of the year and love everything about it....the people....the matches....the excitement I want anyone out there that has ever thought about practical shooting to do it and never look back.....this is the most fun you can have out of any hobby in the world!!! There are abbreviations like M / GM /D /A etc etc....these are the goals we set and not the effectiveness of our abilities....just a scale that has been set forth in the divisions that we shoot.....GM can be a D when it hits the fan...... Just a thought.....

I found it to be a lot of the hands and having a good grip....I also shot left until i got a 60/40 "squeeze" Weak hand is something that i can;t do if you put my muzzle on the taget.....it would still be a Mike.....lol

Welcome!!! KY has a great support group!!! Every weekend you can find a meeting!!! By the time you get through the first stage you will know everyone in the group and feel like you have been doing it forever.....I started at the end of Jan and have never found such a group as the KY Shooters!!

I am against the grain......I like indoors.....but not by a lot.....I like that it is very fixed.....no changing shadows or changing with cloud cover.....it is what it is and you shoot it like that......plus it is climate controlled.....that is like shooting in the house...i like that idea.....if i could build my own indoor range then i would never leave......
