  6. Several good wheelgunners are going to be there. I went last year and had a blast, but it is the same weekend as the MO fall classic that I have already sent my $$ in for..............Seems like were starting to get schedule conflicts somewhat regularly Hopalong
  7. John, You and Sako can put that off until another time. Get that wheelgun out and let's PLAY !!!!! You too Jeff ! And where is LEFTY45 ???? Edit to add: Looks like I'll be shooting with you guys and gals on Sunday. Hop
  8. Sun Busters. They have thin earpieces and don't "rub" from the earmuffs. Plus they are thin enough that the foam pads on the muffs close up and you get good ear protection to what the muffs actually do. My good friend Mark Young sells them he can be found at DIXIEPRO.com Seems like Chris Patty has them too now, and Max Michell has had them in the past. the set I like is $100 for 4 colors of lenses 1 set of frames and a foam case. Tell Mark Sam sent you! Hopalong
  9. Jeff, Let's chat about it at Circleville. Hop
  10. I might be able to swing it, and haven't even loaded my bullets yet ! Hop
  11. I voted NO. ICORE is doing FINE and doesn't need any help (aside from getting it out of Kalibanornia) And..... There is enough of a difference between them that I personally would not want to shell out much $$$$ to then have to switch back to back. A USPSA Revolver only match in the WINTER at a range in the SOUTH or the West would be the better choice if you want to draw a bunch of folks who dabble in revolvers when they aren't shooting their autoloaders. Oh and you would want at least 12 stages if not more so everyone would get the most BANG for their BUCKS. Hop
  12. I have been trying to get to that match for the last 2 years !!!!!! We may work 5 Saturdays in a year, but it seems that weekend is always one of them !!!! It is on the "TO DO" list. Hop
  13. With a big pool of talent to pull from it's wide open but let's PLAY !!!!! Top 5: Limited: 1 Travis 2 Dave if he isn't shooting Production -------- Manny if Dave is shooting Production 3 TGO if he isn't shooting Produciton --------- Taran If TGO shoot Producion 4 Manny------------------------------------------ Strader if the above 5 Taran ------------------------------------------ Smitty if the above Production: 1 Dave S. 2 TGO 3 Angus 4 Matt Mink 5 Max Michell Revolver: 1 Jerry Miculek 2 Cliff Walsh 3 Mike Carmoney 4 Dan Carden 5 John Bagakis There you go. And to keep it fun, list your choices on all 3 divisions !!!!!! Hop
  14. The SINGLE best thing to change at the IRC to make it better is........................................... GET IT OUT OF CALIFORNIA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You might get some more shooters to participate if you did Hop
  15. Man, the shakey Bridge................................It cost me a MIKE !!!!!!!! Way to go, looks like you guys have 9 or 10 wheelgunners. I think my semi-tough stage last year has run all the folks who shot the TN match off Not but 2 signed up! See some of you at Tulsa. Hop Edit to add: Was that a typo I saw???? Steve Anderson signed up to shoot Revo??????
  16. what about Water Moccasins???? i went tromping down my nearly dry creek Tuesday and counted no less than 20 in the few little water holes we have left (Have never seen it this dry -20 inches) -5 seconds for each would be great!!!!! Hop
  17. Where you guys at????? Looks like Cliff and Matt are the only ones with and Cajones to come try my diabolical stage design ! What 's wrong? Scared? IF your SCARED SAY your SCARED !!!!! Hop
  18. Well it looks like I won't have to buy a gun!!!! Hop
  19. Huntsville area. So that would qualify as North Alabama. (closer to God's country Tennessee ) Hopalong
  20. Carefull with the West Coast Luv.............................. They're a little different over there Hop
  21. I reload on a 650, and I never have cleaned a primer pocket yet. I seat the primers and then give it just a little extra "OOmph". Some say I will get a primer bang one of these days, but after 200,000+ Federal large and small pistol plus I have no idea of how many small winchesters with no problems it seems to be an OK system. When I check seat depth I just check to see if they are flush or lower as mine will run with flush primers 100% of the time. I really don't sweat it much. Quite like another on these forums. Hop
