  1. WOW, What a great match, just a little slow on Friday PM, but there was RAIN ???? (at a place that gets around 10 inches a year !!!! This was my first match to fly into. I've figured a few things out. DON'T Fly in and shoot the next day. Give yourself a day to get over it (ESP if your flying east to west and have to be up at 4 AM. I'll post later on more, Thanks to all who worked so hard. NOW you guys do another next year and I'll drag another Tenneseean out with me. Hop Oh, the polish plate rack....... No problem, just don't miss.
  2. I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about shooting MINOR at most of the matches that I go to (I can load my 646 cheaper than the 25/626 s) Plus, A certain 2 Louisiana shooters and I have really talked about this subject and have decided that except maybe USPSA nationals and a few certain other matches there will be no benefit of major over minor. Except the less wear and tear on the hand. A 627 would fit this, and USPSA production, and L-10, and Limited (to really P!ss them off) Now, the price ???? Not gonna be cheap..............my guess 1.2k Hop
  3. Gun oriented around ??? Be there next week, looking to waste some time. Hop
  4. How far are you from, Houngan, Airedale, Glockopop, and pinger ??? Contact them through these forums, they'll set you straight. Moonclip holders ??? Bob Perdue (North Mountain, What many of us use) or Elliot Ayeson, Speedy Rack (What Jerry and many others use) Bob is a member here on these forums (slflr), I have Elliots Phone number if you want it just PM me. Now, you have 3 months to get ready. Hopalong
  5. HK, I'm leaving in the morning, be there all week. PM coming. HOP
  6. You get no tip from me you whipper snapper. As young and Nimble as you are, you should be able to do cartwheels and pick up brass without even getting winded. !!! Glad you got to shoot somewhere, Would have liked to see you whip up on ole "Bucket" like you did me though. Round two at the TN section in Mid October, Cliff usually comes up from Florida and have had some others every now and then (we've averaged 6.5 for the last 4 years, 10 last year) Well done. Hop
  7. I'm going to be working in Paducah for the next 3 or 4 weeks and need somewhere to shoot during the week. Any one know somewhere I can get some range time ? Hop
  8. Just another show of greatness by NashvilleBill. He shoots pretty good too. Good to see you and Dianna again. She shot pretty good too might I add. Hop
  9. Stages have been decided on, Thanks to all who sent something in. One stage has the opportunity to choose your run, up to three runs (all steel too) so round count is going to be more than the minimun. we will have 10 stages, with a minimum of 210 rounds (that is an average of 21 rounds per stage) but I strongly suggest to bring at least 350 just to be safe. We will also be chronoing so no WHIMPY loads (unless shooting minor and declaring it) We will most likely NOT publish the stages, but if enough of you send an extra 100 bucks to me I'll post a few. Oh, and Gary Stevens is the Range Master (and actually shooting a Revolver instead of his SSTK) We'll be using Palm scoring (have been at this range for 3 years now) so things will go really fast and SMOOTH !!! Got some good range officers lined up, and good chow for Saturday lunch (Jr. shooting team will be cooking for you) Now, just got to get the "other" stuff done. oh and anyone wanting to donate for the prize table, please contact me. e-mail: hopalongmd@yahoo.com IF, you are not able to attend. Just drop a small amount of $$$ for the Charity part of the match Please. Hop
  10. Keith, If you don't make it to Vegas. You can come down to Memphis in October and shoot in the Memphis Charity Challenge (revo match). I expect more revos there than EVER was at any other USPSA match...........INCLUDING uspsa nationals. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=84852 Hop Edit to add: Sorry, I'm not able to attend A-3 this year (to keep it on topic)
  11. Looking forward to this match. My first time flying with guns, (great ) Got a good squad to shoot with. Looks like great, FUN stages. I want to thank all those responsible for anything having to do with the match for all their hard work. Hopalong Oh and please remember all the sponsors.
  12. Congrats Matt !!! Also well done to the rest of the wheelgun runners. I got to shoot with Bill, Scott, and Steve. Was really fun and watch out for those 3 they are gonna be good very soon. (except Bill, he's already bad news) Looking at the results, Matt had 2 Ds, and 36 C hits and no penalties, just awesome and what it takes to win (anywhere). Well done Matt !! I'll try to do a little better next time, and make you work for it. I happen to know there were several others there that have a revolver and have shot them in the past, could have easily been 15 or more there. Matt you're gonna have to work on them a little harder. Hop
  13. Great match, PLENTY of shooting to be had at this one (6 or 7 32 round field courses) Had a great time shooting on squad 15, only thing was I was stuck with a bunch of YANKEES !!! Thanks to all responsible for anything to do with the match. Especially Shooters Connection, and Precision Delta Bullets !!! Hopalong

  18. Cuz, You gonna make it down on Saturday ? We'll shoot and scoot on Saturday (saves Hotel $$$$) hope to see you again. Hop
  19. I too use a North Mountain 4 post. I also use a single califorinia comp behind the holster for the "Oh Sh!T" things, and have been using a blade tec double on the left hip for reloads going left (I'm right handed) but that is getting replaced by a single North Mountian so I can be "correct". Hop I use that many since I've been known to drop one or two while trying to hit the open cylinder..............
  20. Rich, a bream is a Perch. Bluegill, pumkinseed, warmouth ect. = GOOD EATING !!! BTW, Tennessee is MUCH better than ga !!! Hop

  22. What, Corey you not gonna touch it ??? OK, you just hide over there in SSTK. NashvillBill is still going to kick their ass !!! (He's been practicing) Hop
  23. You can't have too many. Just not a big enough safe !!!! Hop
  24. I don't even see Lefty, or Hound on the squad list................................ I think you guys are making it up. Next thing you'll say is Bucket Bagakis is going to shoot Hop Edit to add: NashvilleBill is NOT scared, no matter who you guys say is coming. He's still going to kick your ass !!!
