  1. I've run 11 13 and 15 in mine and found that the 15 was the only one I could get to run reliably with CCI primers.
  2. Limited minor until u are comfortable enough to switch to production.
  3. I would recommend Palmetto State as well. Just watch for sales or free shipping.
  4. Shoot 1 round reload off table or belt and repeat. Work transitions back and forth.
  5. Good to know, if I can actually find pistol powder!
  6. From Jerry Miculek: locking the wrists is very important to recoil control.
  7. I feel better knowing that this is a fairly common issue. Looks like way more dry fire is in my future.
  8. Looking forward to these. Already have some for my M&P and they are excellent.
  9. For the $50 extra, I would go for the CORE. I'm sure that it will be approved (presuming you leave the RDS at home) for production.
  10. Let me know how they do. I am looking for a good subsonic load for my 9mm suppressor
  11. Thanks for the idea. I'll try it out if I can get my hands on some 40 mags.
  12. I have found the chamber on my 5.25 to be looser than my 3.8 compact. That said, I love shooting the 5.25 more than any pistol in the safe. Just added some grip tape and it was ready to go.
  13. In addition to the removable battery, the SIII also has an additional GB of ram and SD card support up to 64GB. You can't go wrong with either but I would choose the Samsung. I work for Best Buy Mobile and mess with these phones all day and the S3 still has features I haven't played with yet.
  14. Thanks, I'm gonna deepen the notch and see if that helps.
  15. I just loaded up about 200rds of Bear Creek 147s. 100 @ 3.8gr 1.125 and 100 @ 4.0gr 1.125. Both sets I had about a 10% failure rate (failure to lock into battery) in my M&P 9mm. They shot very well but I need to bump down the OAL to about 1.12 to ensure reliability.
  16. So I am on my second Nordic Charging handle for my FN SLP which seems to not want to stay in the gun during recoil. The first one I had would fall out of the gun if I turned it on its side. Returned it to Midway and ordered another one. This one was so tight I had to tap it in with a rubber mallet. After about 15 slugs and 15 birdshot I go to rack the gun and to my surprise there is no handle to grab. Curious if anyone has had this issue?
  17. Pretty excited to see how everyone did and the new series. Youtube doesn't do you guys justice.
  18. I think I'm gonna pick up some Fiocchi 7/8oz and see how they group just to make sure I'm making the right choice before I place a bulk order. I guess the consensus is you sacrifice recoil for holdover out of smooth bore guns.
  19. Just tested the Remington 1oz Slug out of my FN SLP and shot two 5 shot groups at 50 yards. Each of the groups was about 5inches. Is my search for accurate slugs over? Mind you point of impact was about a foot high on both groups. I also test the Winchester Ranger 1oz Slugs and had two failure to feeds which sucks because they grouped better at 50 yards.
  20. If you turn the powder hopper to OFF, put a small container under the expander / charge die and cycle the powder system manually, until powder is no longer despensed, you should not find but a few grains of powder in there. Thanks, I will give it a try next loading session.
