May be hard to believe but the new Remington Long Range 30.06 loaded with 190gr Nosler Competition bullet and 52.5gr of 4360 is capable of placing 5 shots in .239. The rifle did have the recoil lug bedded before firing. Re read the OP and I guess this would to heavy for hunting.

LOL not yet But You can bet my daughter has dropped the hammer on a empty chamber on every high line insulator that can be seen from there. -
We may also need to look at a two mag leg rig
-
I also need to purchase some 762 mag holders. Can these Tacos be attached to a regular uspsa two belt system?

Need Advice: Being a USPSA Compeditor and having a family
kellymc replied to Malarkey's topic in Miscellaneous BEginners
Not sure what to say . My wife will sit thru a heat wave and a 4 inch downpour at the Double Tap Championship to see her daughter shoot and be a squadmom and her squad. -
Sold a 243 to a friend who's a avid bench shooter and his results are 5 round groups with 115 gr Berger VLD over 39.8grs of h4350 went into .386 5 rounds with107gr Sierra Match King over h4831sc went into .479 He also said the pmags would not allow single loading but his JP and Accurate mags would. He also stated that any rounds loaded within .15 of the rifling had to be single loaded. The prices on these are a little crazy right now

This sounds cool and only 70 miles from home. Been looking for a reason to ger Maize behind a FAL -
Dan I'm sure your right about the cost. The chances of her Dad getting a Vortex from Santa this year just went to zero. Hope to see you at Raton in 2016

The multiple firearms form only applying to handguns is true for Washington State but some states must report sales of multiple rifles. These forms are sent to NICS in all states. I don't think doing one of these forms is a big deal for the buyer or the dealer. On the dealers side doing one is better then your paper work looking like your avoid ATF rules.
-
States that border Mexico have to report muiti sell of semi auto rifles larger then 22lr. I reported multi lowers one time to cover my butt and the ATF called and said not to do so again and mailed the form back to me.

I use mine . it's never jammed . It is heavy but since I can't seem to learn any type of reload besides the 4x4 caddie I might as well use a heavy slower shotgun to match my reloads

I shoot long guns left handed and could never get use to the right handed side of the ambi safely moving in my grip while I worked the other side so I cut one off and now buy the models with the removable paddles making it left handed only. I also like a oversized charging handle latch My right arm gets hit a bit by brass when I practice but I don't notice it at matches
