I've had a hard time ranging some smaller 350 -450 yard targets with my Bushnell 850 Range Finder. I was wondering if the Vortex 1500 Ranger would be a good replacement? $425 dollars is right in my price range and it seems to be in stock everywhere.

Received my scope back from Vortex today . The two scopes are now identical ..Invoice say's it had a loose gimble ring assembly.. It was returned to to me in just two days. I have 3 vortex scopes and one dot and will continue to keep using their great products.

As Mveto stated the Vortex SC is top notch and quick to answer the phone. Sent the scope back today. I expect a short wait.

I have a couple of Razor JM 1x6 scopes and the newest one seems to act like a 1x3 instead of a 1x6. The dial will turn all the way to the 6 but compared to the other scope it appears to max out at 3x or less.Wondering if I was doing something wrong or the scope needs to be sent back. Thanks Kelly
