Could not of said it better !!! Being an RO was made easy with the squad we were in. SO hats off to all the shooters that were in squad 5. Now I just have to wait for my MGM targets and practice my shotgun reloading...

Went out today and tried again. Temps were in the high 50's my 5 round average was 178pf. Only other change was I read the instructions and moved back a little farther from the chrono. Now its time to start cranking out some rounds for the season.

Yesterday , I did 4.2 of TG 180JHP with 1.17OAL in Fusion 6 in and averaged a 168 power factor.

Just started my second year of USPSA. Looking to make some major matchs this year so I want to make sure my load is correct. Went to the range today to chrono some rounds. Precision delta 200 gr FMJ, 4.2gr Titegroup , oal 1.18 out of Fusion 6in. It was making between 166 and 168 power factor. My question is the temps were about 40 degrees or colder outside. How will this effect the #s ? How much of a buffer should tune the round up to ?

What side do you have your mag release on? I have an XD40 Tactical and had the same problem. Mine was usually on reloads, so I deducted I was not seating the mag in corretly. So I switched back to my true love the 1911 But I think you hit the nail on the head , just need more practise with the reloads under stress.

Not sure how I could have so much fun shooting so badly. First year shooting USPSA and felt like someone threw me in the deep end today but I made it throe and looking forward to my next outing. Would like thank sponsors, staff and all fellow shooters i met today and learned from.

I went from an XD to a Para last week and have been really conscious of this in my practice but am sure it will happen.

Hopefully he lets me shoot it in the morning

+1 +2 I have a XD tactical I shoot in L10 but this might fit the ticket for a true Limited pistol..

I shot the gun today. It feels GREAT! Even my buddy who is an XD / 1911 guy was amazed. He said he might have to get one and let my dad cut it up. I don't know what your talking about .... The stippling and slide modification made a ton of differences. Just waiting to see how many rounds you can stuff in it before i go on a quest to find one.

Very nice, makes me want to rework my XD ... love that new pistol smell....

I shot a match this weeked and someone took a video and can I only say. I looked like a fat pirate, betwen the belly and a limp from a knee replacement. I have to agree with some that being big and slow in a way makes you a better shot just because you have to compesate for your lack of movement. That being said, I am on a quest to lose about 50 pounds and if not win a match just make vidoes that I can watch without laughing on the outside and crying on the inside.

Caveat : This is my first year shooting USPSA , have shot approx. 3 matchs and with a total of 4 classifiers. I really chocked on the classifiers and shot Limited minor and made Calssification of D for dreaded ... I am currently shooting a xd40 tactical with magwell, oversized mag release, power rivers trigger, arredondo mag extensions , tungsten guide rod, lightend slde, reduced power recoil spring and skate tape and also have and XD9 Tactical bone stock. I am able to take the 9mm upper and run it on the 40 lower with all the upgrades. I Looking on some suggestion on what Class I should shoot and pro's and con's I feel the 40 is at a disadvantage in limited due to mag capacity and if I switch to 9mm will only be able to shoot minor. 40- 15rd 9mm - 20rds Limited : 40- major / 15rd 9mm minor / 20 rds Or Limited 10 40 Major Thanks in advance for any insight on this subject ...
