thanx craig- i have a dpms upper that's only about 1 yr old. i'd ask benny, but he's got a ton of work and i need a barrel real fast.

now that i've written off ever seeing my old barrel, i was looking at a new JP ultrlight. john's site sez something about the barrels being manufactured to fit their specific uppers. so, anyone put one of his barrels on non-jp uppers? if so, any issues?

yep, counsel getting involved-i don't mess around. that barrel was the sh$tz too! want to thank the 1/2 dozen BE friends i know that have already offered me uppers to use at the next match. you u guyz are great. but i'll probably just work the match...so count on my stage being a bit@h... if anyone wants to know the company, pm me.

won't mention the name of the company, but i sent a perfect ar barrel in to be contoured, cut and refinished. item was delivered and check cashed. business won't return calls or emails, and hasn't returned the barrel or the cash upon request. not good, my bad for not doing more research, as i found others, later, in the same boat. filed complaints with the BBB, county consumer affairs and dist atty office. meanwhile, no AR for upcoming 3 gun matches.

with ver 7 on up, you can always "save as" in other editable formats, like txt, html, etc. then, make yer mods and save as a pdf (assuming you have mac os x).

+1 LP i commute 65 miles a day in my F250-oh well. hybrids? not a bad investment, since it doubles as a lead casket when it hits my truck.

got one of those yard long nordic tubes and while practicing reloads (great idea btw to have a removable end cap), i was stuffing from homemade 6 & 5 round sticks. and with the new 8 round sticks, i can't see how any RO is going to know when someone loads more than 10+1. so the question is, why does uspsa have appendix D1 #9? it's supposed to be open, not limited 10. and yes, i do have a plug for uspsa matches...

nah-can load 4 & 6 round tec loaders quicker than that...

ok, after all these years, i discovered a diet for the remington 1100. over the past year, it's lost about 2.5 lbs. here's how: replaced old 22" deer barrel with 26" remchoke barrel (10 oz) replaced wood stock & forend with composite of the same (19 oz) replaced choate mag extension with nordic component mag tube (6 oz) damn thing feels like a benelli now...
