  1. been in norcal my whole life-suffered the 110+ days and hate the heat, now that i'm older. in less that 2 years, i'll be living on the oregon coast with an occasional coat on...
  2. brian, being in the over 50 crowd, i would be real cautious trying to use blackberrys and palm treos for inet browsing. i know, i have them for work...almost impossible with a screen that size. sure u can blow them up, but then yer scrolling all the time. consider an iphone...just unliock it and go. now that screen works...and as you know, all yer mac stuff likes it as well. then you'll have an ipod, phone, internest browser and mail client all in one nice package.
  3. merlin, that's pretty friggin funny. seriously, though, empty a mag tube except the follower...turn in upside down and feed rounds in it that way. suddenly you'll see what the possibilities are. now, back to trying to get my beta mag to hold 125 rds!
  4. jaime-u guyz sound like alot of fun-look forward to meeting y'all this sunday in san antone. gotta shoot fast-plane leave around 1630.

  6. don't sweat it. just look at all the hi-cap limited & open shooters who just happened upon uspsa since the ban. magic?
  7. arredondo mount is easy to install, and will not come off-trade off is it's higher than the JP. having had the JP fly off, even with the blackmax epoxy, i went to the arredondo. just get a couple cheek pads fer yer stock and it's cool.
  8. Here you go Dave suppressed auto, good thing yer not from kali....
  9. brass flying? i count 4 cases in this one...
  10. luv the gratuitous millennium custom plug. don't you guyz work for a living?
  11. audio's ok, but the video...wow, i don't recall consuming all that alcohol.

    50 BMG

i do remember changing M60 barrels...but this is funny. http://my.break.com/Content/view.aspx?ContentID=499140
  13. kelly-the "outlaw" match rules can get ugly on clays. if you shoot at 5 dogs, they treat flying clays as disappearing IF you engage them. couple years ago they had a stage with 3 flying clays, worth 10 pts each, activated by poppers. hosed the poppers in order, went to engage the clays and had a feed problem-resulting in 90 penalty points.
  14. i'll be in texas next week...looks like fun!
  15. just like rifles, you better know where your pistol shoots if you are gonna try to play at 50 yds. if you zero your pistol at say 15-20 yds, you might be surprised. lots of things to take into consideration like how your optics (if open) are mounted to the gun and your ballistics. you may be blown away where those rounds hit.

  17. i shoot with GM's each month, and get my share of wins, but i'm not referring to those guys. guess i'm referring to the upper echelon.
  18. Been thinking about this for a long time. being a humble master, i accept the facts, and here are a few. I’m sure you guyz will add to this list. More Accurate Let’s face it, GM’s don’t shoot D’s, and rarely ever miss or hit no-shoots. On difficult shots, they are just as aggressive. Masters shoot D’s often and accept them. Faster Doing everything-nuff said? Consistent Draws GM’s never blow a draw, regardless of the start position. They are always smooth. Quick Reloads How many times have you watched and haven’t even noticed the reload. They don’t bobble them-Masters will. Shoot Smarter Rarely does a GM risk the reward trying to cut corners solving a shooting solution. They don’t have huge brain farts either (like FTE’s). Masters, on the other hand, will try to be fancy when they shouldn’t. No Bad Days These guys never have a bad day-I mean a blow out. To them it may appear bad, but Masters trash stages and entire matches.
  19. aaron-it certainly can. tolerances being what they are, i've swapped out a few over time and it does change, not significantly, but definitely worth re-zeroing.
  20. merlin-next time benny has a few brews, give him an airsoft and let him have fun on the mill.
