So I want to build some big sticks from 33 round mags. I have TF big sticks but also wanted to tinker. Anybody got any ideas ? Cut /chop/ glue etc. ???? I tried searching the forum as Im sure someone must have done it. Didnt find much info. thanks

my shooting buddies think I have an issue with too many mags. Currently have 61 - either 9mm or 40 in both 10 rounders and hi caps. I would buy more if the deal is great.

May be an issue with the loads you're using. Whats your current recipe? My guess is, not enough oomph I took the SJC Cmore scope mount off and put SJC micro dot mount on - problems went away. With either loads - guns ran 100% I done all the ejection tricks that I have read for Cmore mounts. heavy spring on extractor white bearing Carver extended ejector NLC extractor any other tricks ? have not shimed the back plate yet.

using autocomp at 6.8 grains with a 124 bullet at 1.14 OAL I noticed that the problem lessons with my other load of HS6 at 7.8 with 124 bullet. Still does it but less often. (2 of 10 FTE)

How is the slide lock spring ? weak ? recoil may be pushing it up.

what spring weight are you using ?

Im still having FTE issues. Running Carver extended ejector, with Non Loaded chamber extractor. using .40 white bearing and extra power extractor rod spring. Gun has SJC Cmore mount, so rounds are getting stuck side ways in slide. Slide is Lone wolf with lowered eject port. tried 11 # to 14 # springs. Any suggestions ?

I just got the Tac-sol .22 upper - FRIGAN great I love it - but going to change the sights.

I tried a Remington 95 grain .380 fmj with 6.8 grains of autocomp at 1.150 oal. Out of my glock 17 open gun. Gun shot real flat and dot was pretty stable Problem was getting enough crimp on this little bullet with my press set up for major loads that I use 124's normally Anyone experimenting with .380's ? Results ? I got a 126 PF from this load

for me round nose bullets can be loaded out to 1.160 in my KKM barrel, especially the Berrys HBTP 124g. My current load is Autocomp at 6.8 grains. makes Major easy, and gun is not hot like when I was loading with HS6.

loaded a Berrys 124g HBTP last night with 6.8 grains of Autocomp at 1.160 out of my open glock. Crono at 1366 to 1400, for 10 rounds. Overcast day (169 to 173 PF) I have the same gun/barrel/comp set up. (but 11 lbs spring) More testing tomorrow

this is true, just recieved my HBTP 124g 9mm. HBTP = hollow base thick plate. I have yet to load any.
