  1. We have big switch here in Atlanta also but same thing some are coming back to glock specially with their advantage in 3 gun.
  2. you have adjustable like mine. i want to try the stock rear sight with proper height front FO sight. also i'll be shooting PM,AM, PM. my 3 gun pistol at top My uspsa and home defense pistol middle carry gun in bottom
  3. My buddy burningsquirrels dryfire his SP01 like mad but nothing is getting broken. Maybe solid retaining pin can help??
  4. Damn it's good i checked my SP01. The firing pin tip is broken :-) WTF!
  5. maybe talking about trigger overtravel. Just like with this http://czcustom.com/CZ85Combattrigger.aspx. Because it will cause your sear touch hammer hooks also if you overdo this overtravel adjustment
  6. What's FPB got to do with dry firing?
  7. Will do probably after FNH 3 gun match
  8. Thanks Ironic, I think i need the 8.5 FO so that at 25 yards, it should shoot POA/POI when i align the target with the FO front.
  9. i have a Limcat Wildcat 40cal built that i sold in favor of TS 40..... The worst thing that i did in my gun hobby life.... i have EDGE too in 40 and 9mm and just sold them last Christmas in favor of CZ platform. Anyway i shoot CZ exclusively now and i'm fine :-) In 40 i will lean on 2011, for 9mm i will lean on CZ unless its SVI. But SV is $$$ CZ is a cheaper platform and they are accurate and low maintenance.
  10. Do you have that link? Anybody has experience with 9mm TS FO sights? Specially using 124-130gr bullets?
  11. motosapiens what bullet weight are you using?
  12. i had a TS, CZ75's, CTS LS and my friend has CZC CTS and checkmate. I also played with high end and stock 2011's. The checkmate is a TS frame that has been re profiled and then checkered again in production . The CTS is also a TS frame with checkering removed so it is smaller than TS by CZCustom it seems. You could grip on the checkmate just a tid higher than CTS because there's extra cuts in checkmate under the beavertail and under trigger guard. Checkmate has front and rear checkering still while CTS is smooth. Checkmate in limited config is also a sight tracker design. The standard TS has bigger grip. Now CTS LS is a 75 frame with a fitted CTS upper. There are some frame cuts and fitting needed in the standard lower to fit the CTS upper. I gave my 75 shadow to CZC and they fitted a CTS 9mm upper. It's my 3 gun pistol right now. My buddy that uses the CTS can load 22+1 on his TS magazine. In the stock short mag that comes with checkmate we could load it only 20+1. In my CTS LS, my standard 18rd with short CZC extended base, with CZC spring kit, i could load 23+1. Peeps in CZC like eerw will be able to really explain everything of their products much clearer. The beauty of CZC's are with reliability because 9mm mags are fitted. For 2011, you need and SVI or SVI mags for mag reliability. STI mags with spacers is $$.
  13. I have 124gr BBI flying around 115-120PF. I'm wondering if 7.5 FO or 8.5 FO will work. I love that rear sight. I'm planning to remove my CZC adjustable rear sight and put back my fixed rear sight so i could use it for racking :-) but my sights right now is POA/POI covering the target by FO dot.
  14. with the 7.5mm FO, where is the aim? top of sights, center of sights???
  15. if you have ultralite firing pin spring then heavy mainspring then you might want one. if you have stock, cZC tuned, or packaged cajun gun works tuned spring then no need.
  16. what's wrong with the stock sights? are they not good?
  17. This http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42b3P8Zt4Fs
  18. heavy i use hornady 75gr JHPBT or Sierra 77gr matchking. light i like montana gold 55gr FMJ..
  19. When available I shoot hornady steel match 75gr in 3 gun since they are relatively cheaper and accurate in my 1/7 twist barrel AR. I recreated it by buying same bullet Hornady 75gr JHPBT, use LC brass and size them similar to steel match, use varget powder and use same coal and crimp light almost no crimp. I chrono'ed the steel match, then I loaded varget until I could match the hornady steel match ammo muzzle velocity. If the same bullet is flying at same speed/velocity in same gun, should be same or close right? even recoil feels the same. I shoot them in different distance and they hit on same place. I think I end up just needing 23.5gr of VARGET.
  20. 11lbs CZ recoil spring is soft. If you load from 133pf-125pf your recoil spring will just be right.
  21. I load both in my CZ SP01 shadow. 3.85gr of titegroup at 1.09oal 124gr Montana gold JHP gives me 129pf. N320 needs around 0.20gr more to match my titegroup pf. I usually load 4.0gr N320. N320 is soft compared to titegroup which is a little flippy but you'll get used to it.
  22. I have to load my 125gr BBI shorter than Montana gold JHP 124gr in my CZ SP01. Different bullets have different shapes.
  23. i did moved from glock to CZ. Easy! I saw a lot in Atlanta did it. CZ now is the dominant gun for uspsa production in our area. If you are shooting glock good then stay there. When you shoot 3 gun you'll be glad you are shooting Glock. If you are not shooting your glock well, putting a CZ shadow gun in your hand will improve your shooting right away :-)
  24. so maybe when i go to match the RO will get the lower serial number call CZ and ask if it comes from SPO1 or shadow....Yeah that could happen right :-)
