  1. Why are you slamming mags into the gun? There is simply no need to do so. All semi auto's can do this if you slam the magazine in hard enough and at the right angle.
  2. Im not sure if the limited pro will fit the box. The gun is absolutely huge. You do need to double check that before going that route. I just sold my Limited Pro but i greatly preferred it to the Stock II because of the sight radius and the balance. The limited pro, despite being longer was less muzzle heavy than the stock ii and tracked better for ME. Its a great gun.
  3. Yes. The lower half of the guns are the same. The traditional barrel is also LASER like...
  4. Im surprised no one has mentioned this yet... Hard versus soft sight focus. I dont believe ANY GM out there is forging his sights on any target beyond a very close in, large target.
  5. PM me, just pay for shipping.
  6. That is the old style 85c combat trigger. I have a spare recurve if you want it.
  7. The picture shows exactly what needs showing but here is a written description. If your trigger is "thicker" and less curved you have an old style 85 combat trigger. If your trigger is very curved and thin, you have a new style 85 combat trigger.

    CZ Accu-Shadow

No. Not yet. Im wondering when it WILL be...
  9. What was the solution to your issues?
  10. Maybe the guy simply likes the shorter barrel and slide... Some OTHER people like longer guns... Lets just chalk it up to personal preference which i think is what Beltjones is getting at. There really is no difference between the guns other than the fact that SOME people might like one over the other because of the frame thickness or thinness or other minor nuances between the two guns. Any way you slice the pie, they're all great pieces.
  11. Bumping this. I took my sear apart and there is no way i can get that god awful sear spring back in there. There's got to be a trick but no manner of slave pin, six hands etc will allow me to get it all together. A search yielded nothing. Any help available guys? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pCdpU89yKA EDIT: Added the link above for anyone that is interested. I must be fumble fingered because i cant get this rolling today but...its the way to do it.
  12. I rescind some of the above. It was DEFINITELY shavings from the sight...lol. I took it out and the chrome lining was golden in the sight dovetail. The sight however was...not as it was definitively shaved down in size. If i had taken more off of the dovetail i do not believe the sight would have been snug. Hrm...
  13. Heya guys, I installed a Dawson Fiber front into my Limited Pro last week. I had to file the bottom of the sight a teeny bit and remove a few thousandths in order to get it to even start in the dovetail. I very LIGHTLY tabbed it in with the included nylon tipped punch and a mallet. It went in smoothly, ie properly BUT as i was hammering the sight in, i literally shaved the chrome lining off of the damned dovetail like slivers of cheese... Today when shooting the dang thing the sight started wobbling in the dovetail... Suggestions? I can go the ghetto route and loctite the front sight in with some high temperature loctite and ensure the screw is firmly rooted or i can get another front sight but yeah...at this point im not sure if a new one will even fit properly. Anyone else run into this issue?
  14. Much lighter spring? Just looking at the two you can see that the tang uses a thicker gauge wire. Plus, moving it out of the way is significantly harder than it is on my CZ's during a detail strip.
  15. What i would like to know is how one goes about removing the stacking feeling from the double action. If you could remove that easily the triggers would be quite nice as the SA feel of the tanfo stock hammer is quite good.
  16. There is a pretty big difference in feel between the 11.5 and the 13.
  17. Your G34 is a G34, not a CZ. They are markedly different systems. IF you feel like you want to go to the CGW 8.5lb spring you're going to NEED to run federals and the extended pin. Anything in the 11.5 and 13lb range is going to be good to go with the harder primers but you MUST seat them extremely well. For peace of mind, i would strongly suggest sticking with the 13 for the tula primers. I run 11.5's and have ignited EVERYTHING ive put through it minus factory tula ammo. With my own reloads using CCI primers i have had a few light strikes but i am still working through this to see if my primer seating depth was off.

    CZC Hammer?

    1. Probably not if you already have a trigger job from Matt Mink. Can you identify if he cut the hammer hooks? 2. Yes, absolutely. It is ALMOST drop in. You generally have to re fit your safety lever though or replace it. 3. Yes, absolutely, 100% production legal.
  19. With my 12 lb recoil spring and factory loads, ie 135k power factor i can feel the slide pushing the hammer back instead of simply gliding over it like it does on my shadow. I tend to stick to ONE gun only so i am hyper sensitive to recoil impulses when i start getting high round counts on said pistol. I do have concerns about beveling that edge since it could prevent the gun from cocking the hammer but im pretty sure id have to remove ALOT of material to get that to happen. Yes, im a recoil diva...sue me. PS, i am using the same hammer spring on both pistols a CGW 11.5.
  20. Hey guys, I just installed a comp hammer on my SP01 and the trigger characteristics between my Shadow and my SP01 are now exactly almost the same. The only difference is how the guns cycle. The Shadow has a rounded off endplate that interacts with the hammer and the SP01 has a square edge. CAN I bevel that edge like we see on the Shadow or is this a no no? I have included a picture to show the differences. Thanks gents!
  21. So in a month from now or so we should have a production legal extended pin from hennings? I just want to make sure im reading this correctly.
  22. Who taught you this? Or are you just regurgitating garbage from the internet?
  23. The 10-8 is one of the most durable fiber optic sights on the market but the question is, for competition purposes, do we really need the added durability? Ive only junked one front sight and that was me being stupid and after two years of use. My Dawsons have held up fine over time and i prefer them since the fiber optic rod is higher in the sight than it is on the 10-8, ie closer to the tip of the blade.
  24. My buddy wants to put a .125/.170 on his 75b. They dont make that for the "75" only the shadow. Hence the question.
