I am wanting to get a lifter welded up on my M1 and am looking for the contact info for C-rums.....who is he and what is the best way to get in touch with him. I didn't see any vendor info around. Thanks for your help

If you do decide to the $0.25 trigger job, make sure on the "angles," i.e. striker face where it contacts the crucifrom/trigger bar, make sure you keep that profile/angle. I added a pack of WOlff springs (extra power trigger, lightened plunger), was under 10 bucks, and I feel it's a little bit smoother/crisper. Be careful with the reduced striker spring and the full weight striker, as this can cause light strikes, especially if you reload with CCI primers. Other than that, sights and grips. Luckily, there's not a whole lot else you can change in a production gun. One of the other changes I made was adding a buffer (which you'll find people either love or hate) and added a captured steel recoil rod. Captured simply because it's easier to break down and put together, and steel because I just don't trust plastic. Neither I or the M class shooter I shoot with have ever heard or seen a recoil guide rod breaking, but I still like the steel. good luck to ya! I thought CCI primers were supposed to be the easiest to light off???

I bought a ready to go JP15 upper and used a lower I built up myself. I run a UBR and a JP trigger group and it has been absolutely flawless...I don't have my records in front of me but I recall having around 500-600ish rounds thru it so far. Building up your own lower is a great way to save some cash that you can then put towards a really good upper

I have been running a new JP upper with an 18' rifle gas system and it is just incredible. You should be happy with your purchase.

I run a lite mod in my M2 and I just picked up a bunch of 12g from different brands from Walmart and am planning on doing some patterning very soon. So far, it has all functioned perfectly in my Benny Hill M2 just doing some range work on clays and my small MGM poppers. I will make a point of getting back to this thread with more info so to possibly help out others with similar set-ups on what cheapo bulk 12g works good and patterns well

I just recently got my JP15 upper and when I mated it to my new dedicated 3 gun lower I built with a UBR stock, the charging handle wouldn't clear. I called Eric and he immediately sent out a new CH that he checked on his own rifle with a UBR and included a reurn UPS label and a JP t shirt. Outstanding CS from JP

What is your plan for the rifle before we all start chiming in? Comp, SD/HD, plinking etc.

I just bought a JP-15 with the low mass system and adj gas block. Set from the factory, it has run (so far) everything I have thrown at it (I think 7 or 8 different loads) except Radway. The same radway that won't run my BCM 14.5" middy with an H buffer. It does run with a carbine weight buffer but not anything heavier. My JP even ran with the much slower Hot Shot ammo! That stuff only goes about 2800 fps-ish out of a 16" middy so it is even slower than AE. I did have short stroking issues with my first mag of Prvi 69gr with the JP, but not the second mag????? I was running out of time so I didn't explore it more to see what the deal was. I just used the JP in a match for the first time and it ran like a top using the Guat surplus

Just figured I would throw this out there in case it might help other M1 owners after doing some disassembly this morning and a little measuring. I just ordered a +4 nordic ext from Midway. I have a +5 on my new M2 I just got from Benny Hill and comparing the two mag tubes side by side the +4 will be right in the middle giving me a total of 8+1. My new M2 holds 9+1 (+ ghost load) so the M1 should be 8+1 with the +4, and since it is a later HK marked gun, the mag tube just screwed right off and is modular with no cutting required. I also ordered up some Carlsons extended choke tubes in Lite Mod per Benny's recommendation. This should work great on my M1 since the +4 mag tube is going to stick out just a little...it will help make up some of the difference. I will update after I get the parts and do the install. Midway has a chart listed on the Nordic page giving all of the tube lengths and that was very helpful...anybody buying a tube that is not sure of how it will fit (depending on what model you are putting it on) should take a peek at that chart

I'm taking a wild guess it is a later HK marked gun since it can't be ghost loaded. I am planning on taking it apart this week for a top to bottom cleaning so I will know then.

Hey all you Benelli experts....just wanted to verify which nordic mag tube extension to get for my HK marked M1. It is an 18.5" model that is currently 7+1 and would like to get it to 8+1. I know the tube will extend slightly past the barrel. Should I be getting the +5 tube to get the 8+1 capacity? Thanks for the help

You know Benny sells brand new M1's that are ready to go out of the box??????? Ooops...meant to type M2 ^^^^^^^^ Benny just happened to have an M2 sitting in his shop all brand new and ready to go. He said he will send off the lifter to C Rums (who is he BTW???) before shipping it to me so it will totally ready to go. I guess I have to thank my lucky stars that I have a wife that wants to get me a shotgun for a Christmas present I to her!!!!!!!!!! It should be ready to ship in the next few weeks so I will have to be very disciplined not to shoot it before Christmas day!

It's a pinned and welded carbine gas gun with an Aimpoint. Hardly ideal for fast 3 gunning. I recently purchased a TR24G and a Leupold MRT 1.5-5 Illum. and have them all mounted up and ready to go with cat tails. I have been using them on my DennysGuns middy AR trying to see what I prefer out of the two. I really want to have a dedicated 3 gun rifle that is set-up perfect. I actually built the BCM carbine for my wife since she is also shooting matches with me. She hated the XCR since it is front heavy and she is very petite. I built the AR as light and short as possible for her but I started using it after she got pregnant and couldn't shoot. Our summertime matches here in Vegas are at night so I slapped a TLR-1 on her rifle and it is a perfect rifle for home defense so I just used it all summer for a little HD/SD practice and wringing out the the build. Needless to say the BCM ran perfect. I have decided to sell off my two XCRs (they just don't shoot as smooth as ARs for competition) and completely convert over to the AR platform. I now have 4 complete lowers with several uppers in .223 and .204 and another stripped lower waiting to be built into the 3 gun rifle. I just want to have a rifle and shotty that leaves nothing to be desired and won't cost me time...I have no problem living with my own mistakes but it irritates me when I lose a stage because I just needed one more round in my shotty or my rifle doesn't have a smooth recoil impulse and it slows me down. My wife shoots a Gen 4 17 and does really well with my M1, so by going all AR platform our spare parts, ammo and mag situation is greatly simplified for rifle, pistol and shotty once she starts shooting again after January. If you search the forum for JP related posts you will find more detailed info...but suffice to say that JP is high on the list when it comes to 3 gun stuff....the 18" with rifle gas, adjustable gas block, LMOS buffer and carrier or a variation thereof (or similarly designed products) seem to be people's favorite when it comes to hoser style 3 gunning. you don't need all the parts (gas block, carrier, buffer) to have it work, but most say it works the best all together. Your stock choice which is part of the lower shouldn't be influenced by the system in your upper....i've run a carbine and rifle length buffer system with my upper (which is not a jp one but uses lots of their parts)...I use ACS...my buddy uses the CBR...and say, the Noveske guys run PRS stocks from what I've seen so any and all should work fine, but note that if you want to use the JP lightened Buffer, you will need to have a rifle length buffer tube as JP (at least to the best of my knowledge) doesn't sell a carbine length model. As per triggers...again, search for single stage trigger and u should find a big pole with people saying what they use. good luck Thanks for the info. I am a single stage guy for everything but a true precision rig so I am set on a single stage for this build. If I go with a collapsable stock (I really like the ACS as a happy medium) and the JP upper with low mass bolt, which carbine buffer is recommended?

Howdy all...I am new to this forum and have been shooting 3 gun since the beginning of this year and have been doing pretty well at the local level. My local range does outlaw run-what-you-brung type matches and I have been consistently top 5 if not top 3 and have actually won quite a few individual stages along the way. I have been shooting a G34, initially an XCR but then switching to a BCM 14.5" AR, and my M1S90 to this point. My 34 has been great but I have lost a few rifle and shotty stages due to my "basic" equipment. I am looking to wring out everything I can from a new rifle and shotty (thinking Benny on this one) and by putting the final touches on my gear belt (lost some time there while I was using stuff I had laying around...now I have almost all the "good stuff"). I am very interested in going to the next level and trying to run soem regional type matches and see where I stand so I don't want to have any handicaps...just lose time because of my own skills (or lack-of), not because of subpar gear. So here I am asking advice from seasoned 3 gunners about which rifle set-up to get/build. First the lower: I am very capable of building my own lower (have built many) so I would rather just buy an upper and mate it with my own lower. I already have the stripped lower but am undecided on which stock and buffer to use. I am a fan of the different Magpul stocks so I am wondering if I should use an ACS, UBR or just go with a standard rifle stock? I am also thinking about using a JP trigger group. Now the upper: I am seriously looking at the JP complete uppers. I am thinking the 18" with rifle gas is the perfect combo. Is this upper with their low mass BCG the hot ticket? Would I need to use their low mass buffer with this upper? Will using this type of upper dictate certain types of stocks to use (i.e. a slightly heavier stock like the ACS or UBR)? Any other tips or advice anyone can offer will be much appreciated...thanks for helping out a newbie

I just saw a Salient at our local funstore and was really impressed. I am new to 3gun (been shooting since early this year) and am looking to get an M2 and quit using my stock M1. I am also torn between the Salient and just buying a brand new complete M2 from Benny. His is set up a little differntly PLUS I know what a Benelli master he is. His is only a little more than the Salient. My wife has said a new shotty will make a great Christmas present for me (I love her soooooo much!!!!!!) I have to say I am leaning towards Benny's at this point.
