Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. We did a 20 second penalty for failure to spin the last time I used one.
  2. I like it as well, just can't find any. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
  3. Mod 4, the medium length one. IMO the Mod is too long. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
  4. Bullets to the rear for me. I have 2 on the belt but seldom use the second. I also prefer them to have a slight rearward cant to help with an easier draw because typically they sit around the 8-9 o'clock positions. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
  5. I've been playing with the app and like it, On the registration side, that just the thing, I see where I could login at clubs.practiscore but can not find anywhere to register a club or event. I've read the manual and searched 25 different ways but can not find any way to get a club or an event registered. Any help you guys can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks
  6. I am already growing weary of bad handwriting, bad math, and entry mistakes. lol But seriously, the club is looking to streamline the process. I've researched Practiscore and MatchSignUp and really like Practiscore because it claims it does it all but for the life of me I can't figure out how to sign up for it. Anyway, what are you successfully using to administer 3-gun matches from points A-Z? I'd like to be able to have shooters register online, register in person if applicable, pay online and still have the ability to manually enter in payment, even squad up and be able to score the match with seamless results. Thanks
  7. Please do not turn 3-gun into the bickering fest that is lased with ridiculous rules and restrictions like USPSA and IDPA are. Look at those forums, do we really want that? Don't be like the federal government thinking you can control things with more rules and restrictions. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
  8. All great questions guys, thanks. I've built a dozen or more ARs, the gas block is properly located. I learned that lesson a while ago. Lol The barrel is a mid length using a BCM block. BCG is GTG, everything is tight and staked properly. The gun functions flawlessly. At this point it is most definitely a "feel" thing not a fact thing but what you guys are saying about it being a rolling cycle makes sense. This is my first mid length gun and comped gun so it feels completely different. I ran a quick test using a crappy phone app yesterday and got similar splits between the two uppers, well on the shots that it would record. It missed several shots so I am not sure how accurate it was. Note to self, get a shot timer. I may try dropping back in a USGI buffer and spring and see if that makes a difference. I can get to the range at least one more time before the match this weekend. I had really hoped to get these issues straightened out before now but time got away from me. 9. Not sure, I need to grab a timer the next time I'm at the range. I am going to try to get back there again tomorrow since it will be nice again. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
  10. I built a new rifle this year to shoot for 3gun and changed some things up over what I've shot in the past. DD 14.5 barrel mid length gas FA BCG BCM Mod1 comp pinned Spikes Tactical T-2 buffer Damage Industries enhanced recoil spring Its a smooth gun with a very low recoil impulse and stays on target well but it seems like I am almost waiting on the BCG to get back into battery before I can pull the trigger again. Is that normal? I've never shot a comp gun before. Thanks Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
  11. That's great, hopefully those pros who get the attention on TV, 3Gun Nation, YouTube, etc follow suit. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
  12. Do we absolutely have to use the 3Gun Nation square targets specified in the classifiers for them to count or can we use regular IPSC targets? I know the answer, I'm just hoping I'm wrong and can save my club some funds. That shipping is a killer. Thanks
  13. I would love to see some of the pros switch back to tac-iron permanently. That's why the newer shooters think they have to have magnification, the pros are doing it. If TI was more accepted at the pro level, I think we would get more new shooters. If you don't think that is true just look at any gun board on the topic. People are constantly saying they can't do 3gun because they think they can't afford the gear or they are asking what whiz bang scope to get, never having shot a match.Tac-irons is a much greater challenge and test of skill over tac-optics. Any pros reading this, I challenge you, please set an example and display your skills shooting Tac-Irons. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
  14. I shoot tac/limited only for 3 years now with a G34. If you start to "limit" mag capacity in all 3 guns then the shooter will NOT have room on the belt to carry enough mags/shells to complete most of the stages! Your "production" 9mm pistols can hold the same as a 2011.Remember tricked out 9mm 2011's are only 1 of 3 guns. You must master ALL 3 to win.... This is why there doesn't need to be a change. A person shooting a $450 Glock is at no more of a disadvantage than a guy with a 2011. The gear only matters slightly difference, its the shooter running the gun that makes the biggest difference. I would wager you could give a pro a Hi-point and a noob a tricked out 2011 and the pro would still win handily. It just isn't an issue.
