I have friend who had a similar issue with a Beretta Teknys. It was the pin that holds the trigger group in being too tight, or possibly slightly bent.

The A400 Xtreme stock will bolt straight on but is expensive. I'm not sure about the Xtrema2, as I don't think it's based on the A400 platform, which the 1301 is. HTH Keith

Forgive me for hijacking the thread, but can you elaborate on what you mean by 'polished the actions bars'? Is it literally polished to a shine with all the paint removed, or does it mean all the stamp lines filed flat too?
