    Slide milling

Just got my Shadow slide back from CZ Custom Shop, it looks just like this (except non-Accu), wonderful. Eric
  2. Actually that rule applies to open as well, just isn't followed by some/many open shooters as far as I can tell. Eric
  3. looks like this idea will not work, Deltapoint box states it uses metric M4 X 0.7 screws, JPoint Mounting Adapter instructions from JP website mention 6-32 screws so thread is different. Eric
  4. This may be a silly question but here goes. I currently have my original type Deltapoint mounted on my MP9 in the rear sight dovetail with the dovetail mounting system which comes (optional) with the Deltapoint. Shortly I will be receiving my CZ SP01 Shadow slide back from CZ Custom with their "multi-optic sight cut". I will move the Deltapoint over to the Shadow. Looking at JPoint or FF3 as options to mount on the MP9 as my back-up CO gun. After this can I use the Deltapoint mounting plates to mount a JPoint to the MP9? Would these plates work with a JPoint as I have heard (on the forum) that JPoint and Deltapoint use same screw spacing? I assume these plates would not work with a Burris FF3 as I have seen on the forum that the FF3 has different screw spacing than the Deltapoint. Eric
  5. agree with mjohn this is strange and should be rechecked: I get 167 PF with 5.3 gr N340 and 180 SNS cast coated bullet, 169 PF with slightly more than 5.3 gr (5.3+ as I call it) which has become my usual practice and local match load. Eric
  6. Why is that? Thousands of CZ shooters do it a year at LAMR ("shooter, load and make ready!") in Production without incident. If they're responsible gun handlers who watch where the point the muzzle, the worst possible outcome is an inadvertent round into the berm and a disqualification, which is extremely rare. Certainly does need to be done with care and attention and practice. (we are in the beginners forum section after all) Eric
  7. You will be dreading the long waits in 90* with 100% humidity come summer at area locals, enjoy while you can not complaining just wondering.looks like my work schedule will have me in the area for TCGC and NISA matches. Glad you could make it, I think I was on your squad, welcome to Illinois. Eric
  8. Ouch, sorry to hear that. Eric
  9. My understanding is that Holosun manufactures the Primary Arms. I have not used either but looked at a Holosun in the store and the model with the battery underneath the sight makes for a very slick package. Eric
  10. not in most of the state , however I understand Chicago and Cook County do restrict Mag capacity, you definetely do not want to get in legal troubel there. Chicago and Cook County do not like gun owners. Eric

    CZ75 Pre B

Yes I believe. "CZ75" is on the Production approved list. That should cover it. Eric
  12. Yes, I believe both are outdoors. Chillicothe is definitely. Polo I'm pretty sure they will be outdoors for it. Yes, Polo / TCGC is an outdoor range. Eric
  13. You are absolutely right, dynamic pictures can be deceptive, in fact some of the other pictures on Liveshots look less questionable. Eric
  14. As an RO and a Production shooter I'd have an issue with that. does not look to be in compliance to me. that looks like 2015 Production Nats at PASA? Eric No, too many mags for IDPA, plus no concealment garment. How do you he isn't shooting Limited or L10? check liveshots, 2015 Production Nationals, Max Michel:picture 146/276 looks like the same exact scene. Eric

    40th aniversary CZ

I have seen one of these, beautiful! Eric
  17. I think you have to take the racker off. agree
  18. agree, 15 yds freestyle for me partly because I can hold much steadier at 15 than 25, also this sight-in seems to work for any distance from 5 ft to 45 yards. (sight in from bench first, then confirm freestyle and make final adjustments) Eric
  19. Hope so. Would be nice for many to be able to bring along a Production gun as back up to CO gun when going to a major match. Im just going to keep an optic on my MP9 bedside gun as a backup CO gun even after my Shadow slide comes back from CZ Custom where I just shipped if for milling. Actually the MP9 is working very well as a CO gun for me already. Way more accurate than it ever was with iron sights for me. Eric
  20. $800 and a few spare magazines and your into CO.... If that price is confirmed then it's a game changer for sure. That does look good. Eric
