  3. I like what this guy has done. http://www.targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?t=28641&highlight=software
  4. I use a marvel .22 conversion on a wilson combat based 1911 and really like it. Like the others have said above the feel and weight are a little different but you cant beat the cost of ammo or the trigger on a custom gun.
  5. I started with a lnl and ended up with a 650. The only reason i switched is because of the peer support both online and locally. Both are good products.
  6. Order the udie .. they are usually out of stock so get in line now
  7. I have an aimpoint with the primary arms 5x magnifier. It has the fixed mount which has to be tightened with a wrench in order to stay tight. The optics are good but the eye relief is poor and the magnifier makes the red dot BIG. I would like to find a flip to side mount as well and thought about the one of the clones that ebairsoft sells but they have poor reviews
  8. Keep an eye on aim surplus. The have them for $59 - $69 bucks.
  9. Very sorry to hear this but know that you did the best thing for your friend. http://www.petloss.com/poems/maingrp/rainbowb.htm
  10. The ability to customize your ammo and learning about ammo in the process would make it worth while. If you buy a sdb and don't like it you will be able to sell it for 80-90% of cost immediately.
  11. Not what I wanted to hear but thanks for saving me some trouble.
  12. I bought a laptop charging cart from a local school auction this weekend (see attached picture) and am thinking of moving my xl650 and related stuff from my normal workbench to this roll around cart. The upsides ... clear up some space on my workbench for other stuff (engine parts, tools, cleaning stuff, move it around to the AC ). The downsides: the cart has a sort of thin metal top and the strong mount might flex it and the cart might interfere with the handle (I need to measure), little shorter than my bench, since the wheels cant be locked there might be a bunch of jumping around when I am loading. Anyone else mounted their press to a movable cart/desk?
  13. Rest and give it a break for a few days. Go fishing or whatever other hobby you like to do.
  14. Krebs Customs does great saiga work. http://www.krebscustom.com/
  15. I did some research on this a while back and there are dies (lee makes them but you have to call). There is supposed to be a wax coating on the casings that is required by the pistols but I don't know if you have to have it for the ar57 or ps90. If you tumble the cases it will remove this wax coating.
  16. I have one of these too. I want the rolling cabinets that go underneath but they are $180 each This one http://www.sevilleclassics.com/products.php?pid=90
