  1. @Boomstick303 as it mentioned before, you can stop timer from listening by pressing M or the arrow buttons on the timer. I also fixed stopping timer from the PractiScore app in the last Android app release. The long tap on the timer menu on the scoring screen opens start/stop/settings menu. And also you can take out some of the accidental shots/noises from the shot list in the app without manually re-entering time you noted on the timer screen. In the Android app you tap on the "Time" or "String x" label to open the shots view popup. The long tap opens a history of downloaded strings (about 20 last ones), e.g. in case you wanted to restore overwritten time or swap time between stages that were shot back to back. You can find the manual at https://community.practiscore.com/t/bluetooth-timers-supported-in-the-practiscore-app-for-android/208#:~:text=You can review received shots
  2. There is an aftermarket holster for AMG that adds clip and a hinge to help to see yhe timer... The new PT has multi-par time and some historical review. Though personally I find it's menus hard to use. Email me, I will send you a promo key for the PractiScore Log app and would like your feedback on it. Much easier to look at any historical times wit it and it also eliminated a need to look at the timer, as time is spoken back...
  3. CE is a great support3d of the sport, though to be fair, other vendors been sponsoring matches too...
  4. If you haven't noticed, all of the timers on those pictures have Bluetooth support. So, that was not the question and besides, if I'm not mistaken, @CHA-LEE has had the AMG timer to play with...
  5. They are working on it. You may have to contact them about release date. Out of curiosity, what features are you expecting from it that aren't available in other timers?
  6. The 2nd part of uspsa rule 6.4.1 applies to all levels
  7. It is not necessarily the case. For SCSA non-members could be allowed for Tier 1 matches. The rule book says membership is recommended, but not required. Appendix A1. For USPSA - non members are allowed at L1 matches and also you don't have to be USPSA member to shoot any USPSA matches if you are member of another IPSC region. See rule 6.4.1.
  8. The PT one look kinda small in overall on that picture. Here are more like side by side pics
  9. As far as I can see, the SCSA classification update file USPSA provides to PractiScore to pull in, does have Xes the same way as the USPSA classification update file. Personally I don't really see anything special about updating competitor's classification for either discipline, or why PractiScore would apply any additional logic on top of the update files published by USPSA for those disciplines. But if you feel strongly that the SCSA file should not have those Xes, please bring that up to USPSA.
  10. Uspsa uses that yo indicate expired membership
  11. Usually it does help to read the user manual https://www.amg-lab.com/pages/support PS: I was really surprised that you can't stop the Pro timer...
  12. It is better to either hold it facing the shooter or horizontally flat (so, you can see the screen in your peripheral vision and mic is not pointed away. As an option could also enable BLE push in the system timer menu, then PractiScore app (at lest on Android) will show updates for every shots, so the score keeper could notify the timer RO if timer is picking up all shots. Also, there is an option in the app to drop the accidental extra shots. See https://community.practiscore.com/t/bluetooth-timers-supported-in-the-practiscore-app-for-android/208#:~:text=You can review received shots
  13. ...and with the rest of them
  14. You get an error saying file is too large when a file is too large. This one was different and 60kb is a pretty small picture these days. Not sure why would I need to email it to myself when I'm on desktop PC, but today it worked with the same picture...
  15. Hmm... It is always a tradeoff. Though there is an aftermarket timer holder with a belt clip for the AMG timer.
  16. Wow! When did the match shirts became boring? Those look really cool!
  17. Getting an unknown server error when trying to attach image to a post. any idea what that could be? Chrome 91.0.4472.114 on OSX here. Can't attach screenshot here due to the same error

  20. It is only "slick" until that classifier re-entry win the stage and pushes other scores down enough to change the overall standings... Anyhow, this is one of the things USPSA should have put more thoughts in and should have worked closely with the PractiScore crew. It is not that hard to figure out what need to be done on both sides. This is one of those things that requires both parties to work together. But at least one of the parties either doesn't care or has no idea that there is an issue. Hint – it is not PractiScore.
  21. Making assumptions regarding new Bluetooth-enabled timers based on your past bad experience with the shotmaxx timer make no sense... The shotmaxx timer WAS a cool kid at the block back then. But its Bluetooth support was half backed, not to mention that product was designed about 10 years ago and a lot of things had changed on both sides - what is available for external devices and what hardware and protocols are supported on the modern tablets and phones. I know that because I did tried to hook up what has become the PractiScore Log app with the shotmaxx timer back then and experience was not reliable at all. The timer's Bluetooth interface was based on Bluetooth 2 and basically the timer was sending data using audio-encoded like Morse code, which was going trough device DAC and those are all over the map on Android. It was so bad that they disabled Bluetooth in their last firmware update. A lot had changed since then. Both Android and iOS platform had opened up to enable external devices and device manufacturers now can add BT support for like $5 cost of parts. I've seen Bluetooth support added to some timers in a few weeks time frame. Seriously there are no reasons for any modern timer to not have Bluetooth now.
  22. Here is a reference page for the Bluetooth timers supported in the PractiScore app for Android. The iOS app is somewhat behind in regards to supported timers. https://community.practiscore.com/t/bluetooth-timers-supported-in-the-practiscore-app-for-android/208 Similarly, here is the reference page and supported Bluetooth timers for the PractiScore Log app (both Android and iOS) It is the app to make any supported Bluetooth timer smart and bring your practice to the next level https://community.practiscore.com/t/practiscore-log-app-info/215 PS: one more timer worth to mention is Competition Electronics ProTimer BT. AKA toss away your Pocket Pro II... https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=4082883685108677&id=111535648910187
  23. Try to call GoShoot. They might have stock. https://www.goshoot.com/ But then the sooner you order it, the sooner you will get it...
  24. @BillChunn if you name these stages like "18-02", then you don't need to attach PDFs and the Android app will create these stages automatically when you use pin# import from PractiScore website. See more at https://community.practiscore.com/t/create-stages-automatically-when-downloading-match-from-the-practiscore-web-site/682
  25. Or get the tablets, or even have ROs to use their own phones to enter the data.
