  1. Tried all 3 CZ shops already. Don't seem like either of them sells the screws alone.
  2. Does anyone know specs for screws used with Shadow aluminum grips on and where to get them? I can't seem to unscrew grips from the gun and will have to replace the screws after ripping the original screws off. The only problem is that I can't find replacement screws. Thanks in advance.
  3. I roll-size all my brass on CasePro machine hooked to the DL550 case feeder. It cost more then push-trough setup, but it is also number of times faster. http://www.casepro100.com/

Going to practice some movers on weekend. It is painful to reset them after each sequence. So, I came up with a shortcut for practicing swingers. The idea is to setup an activator (popper), several static targets or plates and a swinger. First shot would go to the activator, then there should be enough time to acquire a sight picture on static target long enough to make two shots (but not shooting it) and then move to swinger and take two shots. After that move back to the next static target, acquire sight picture and then get back to swinger on a second swing. So, with Production setup you can take 5 swings in one run.

    Czechmate

In case anyone is interested here is some info about magazines. So, there is two variants of Czechmate package: One with thick internal grip offsets that go inside of the frame. With those grips gun takes regular CZ Shadow 9mm magazines One without internal offsets. This variant takes regular CZ TS 9mm magazines (the ones that came with the recent CZ TS 9mm wide frame guns)
  6. Great match! Wery challenging and also well run. Thanks to all people listed above as well as the rest of the match crew!
  7. I am using $5 key chain camera found on eBay mounted to the hat lid using piece of Velcro. There is several variants of this camera, including HD. http://www.chucklohr.com/808/
  8. Stage diagrams and briefings are now posted in the Match Info section of the match web site.
  9. So, 325 competitors registered now. Anyone know how many GMs in Prod, Limited and L10? Thanks
  10. Careful here. Hypothetically speaking, the popped round could have come from an inserted magazine and not from the chamber.
  11. There is a sentence in the rule permitting competitor to leave stage with a loaded gun if specifically directed by RO. I saw cases whe it was not possible to disassemble the gun, becaus round got stuck in the chamber. They had to case it and sent to gunsmith.
  12. You'll have to ask Rachel, but I suspect Chris will be very popular, and he already has few friends here. As for the awards dinner, from my past experience, suits and ties will work, so as a nice shirt and pants (no shorts or jeans).
  13. Not really. Any IPSC current member can participate in all sanctioned matches. All USPSA members are automatically have IPSC membership. You can always contact the match director and ask for the invitation. See information on the match web site.
  14. I've been told that there was a precendent of described case at a Level 3 IPSC match several years ago with a live round inthe gun on load and make ready. It went to the arbitration and competitor won it on the ground that it was an RO fault to not check the gun on his last stage. I believe IROA president made this ruling.
  15. The match is getting closer... Anyone else is going? I've heard Chris Tilley is panning to come here.
  16. It is less then two months to the IPSC Ontario Provincials match. Who else is going?
  17. When scoring stage, fill in all targets with As and subtract from As when tapping on Bs, Cs, Ds and Ms. Penalties per target (max 2) and stage procedurals are separate entry.
  18. As an action, you should also write to your regional IPSC coordinator and ask him to vote on this issue accordingly. The problem with this new rule is that even without swapping any parts or trigger job with lots of rounds trough the gun ant lots of dry fire practice the pull gets significantly lighter. It may make sense to lower the SF pull only though, but leave the SA one alone.
  19. Good shooting! Just curious, what software you are using to make this picture-in-picture mix?

One of my best stages at USPSA Area 6 match. Seem like I need to work on my initial draw and reloading moving backwards:
  21. So, I see there is 3 GMs in Production now. Does it mean we may have a classifier match?

    B Card

Congrats! I should get mine soon too, should get the final percents from classifiers I dit at the Area 6.
  23. I shot production on Friday too. Great match, but tough weather to shoot it in one day. There is couple of the tricky stages. Someone said results were at the club house, but haven't got chance to look at them. Hope Linda will post them somewhere, but she is very busy.
