  1. Great job Dan, trigger is awesome..over-travel is gone with a minimal, crisp reset. grip feels very nice and SSS f/s is much skinnier then factory.
  2. I had to post a wanted add in classified section. I got a few offers.. also caught 2 when 44mag.com had them in a few weeks ago
  3. Are you sure your information is up to date? Budsgunshop has the 5" pro and the M&P9L for the exact same price. I have not been able to find the 9L for less money than the pro in online stores, and the 9L is hard to find in stock anywhere. I would by the pro given that the price is identical to the 9L online. If you find a 9L in stock somewhere local for less, buy it. That's why I bought the pro from buds. I went with dropping my gun off to burwell gunsmithing instead of putting apex parts in.

    O the grip!

Iv also been using the small for a few matches. I am able to place support hand high in the dimple above removable grip.
  5. There also good for bellies It requires a smooth quick draw. It mimics the holster of a open gun.at least as close as you can with 2" out and grip just above belt. Don't see any of those open guys with there gun up on there hip
  6. Wow, that is awesome. My girl is 3 and im already counting the days till I can get her shooting. Is that a reliable .22 ?
  7. So you must have new striker..I use a snap cap on top of my dummy rounds...I like using real weight of gun. Guess ill make sure I use one now.
  8. Ordered my handgun from buds. They sent it 2-day to my ffl. I was told by gunsmith if a non-ffl sends it it must be overnite. ...?
  9. There are lots of diffrent styles..just try to be in the position you shoot before you draw. You don't want to be moving head to much at all.
  10. Happened to me within 6 months. And my buddy twice in 4 months. The one I got from a store online seemed to be thicker then factory, took alot to get it in but it has held. This is one of the reasons I no longer shoot a xdm BTW snap cap or no snap cap they still break. Both mine and friends happened while shooting...its a major design flaw which as usual springfield doesn't seem to care to remedy

  12. I got my pro 5" at Buds gun shop...can't be beat on the deal, unless you are a LEO
  13. Have you shot it yet? What kind of load are you going to run?

    O the grip!

Thought of that but didn't think that would be legal for production
  15. The club I shoot at uses plenty of hardcover targets, and you better slow down enough to be accurate. You can be 2 seconds quicker with a. 30 less hit factor and you will lose. So I dont see how uspsa doesn't have enough accuracy in the sport already.
  16. That's where the info came from then. I guess you can order the part straight from S&W or is there another source that might have it. I know I'm pushing the limit on the PF, but I was just trying to put together a load the wife likes more than anything. AS I said, 3.1 runs in her M&P fine but it runs right at 132 PF on my scale through her 5". Iss that with tite group? I have to load 3.3 to 3.4 to get 130 out of my 5"
  17. If you want to try, looks like roger@uspsa.org computer support. or matt@uspsa.org website content

    O the grip!

I was trying a few with the large and small. With large I have no choice but to have pad of finger on trigger because of size which is good and I like the side swell for support hand. But with small I can get fat part of support hand higher on the grip and also with small I am quicker on mag changes. I was also able to decrease draw time with small.
  19. Got my m&p about a month ago. I am still struggling with choosing a backstrap. I have shot the medium, large and now I am liking the small. I can find good points on all of them. I think sometimes id be better off with no choice. Lol
