Apologize for what? If your club becomes affiliated with USPSA then your PO becomes Open minor, pretty simple, & as long as you want to use the hypothetical term "Production Optics" you should leave any reference to USPSA out of your advertising, because it is not.

My Case-Pro will be in next week, could you guys that have a set-up using a Dillon Casefeeder post your pictures to show your system? Thanks.

3N38, 3N37, N105, HS-6, Auto Comp all work. N320 is way too fast for Open. N350 is a good powder to use, I know David Pruitt uses it.

Where to buy Targets, Swingers, Poppers, etc.?
hvsmith replied to Gurkha's topic in USPSA/IPSC Shooting
MGM is the best + their support for the Ironman & their Junior Camp they put on every year deserves our support. -
Which Dillon casefeeder do you need, a 550, 650, 1050 or doesn't it matter?

SVI grip texture, would you do it different (aggressive V tactical)
hvsmith replied to ChrisRR's topic in 1911-style Pistols
I have hands softer than a baby's butt, I dry fire almost every day, only took a few weeks & my hands were good to go. You can't even notice the calluses, no one will know they're there except you. -

I have 2 aggressive grips & would never go with anything else. Yes I have calluses on my hands where it rubs & early on I would even bleed a little until my hands got tougher but I love the feel of never having to worry about your hands slipping. -
When you order an SV grip you let them know if it is going on an STI frame & they do all the prep work for you so it goes on without a problem.

Yes Midwest has a match tonight. Be there about 6:30 to get ready & shooting starts at 7:00. Let people know it's your first time shooting & one of the RO's can go over a safety meeting with you.

Got a +5.4 on Stage 8, happened to a squad mate on Stage 2 with a +8.89 but he caught it in time, cost me 9 places in the overall rankings that really hurt big time. -

Thankfully John Booth came down with Hunter to watch him shoot who I was squadded with & had his old Bedell gun with him & lent me his for the rest of the match. How about that John Booth? What a friend to have! They don't come any better!

Damn Herb, that is sad to hear. I want one of those sights so bad but unless they become as reliable as the slide rides I will never buy one. There enough other things that can go wrong with an Open gun. I can't imagine the dot just going out after a few rounds into a stage! I received a call from a big shot at C-MORE today. He said they have been having better luck with the new circuit boards but are only getting an 80% satisfaction rate - are you kidding me? He said they spent a full week in Japan coming up with a "Permanent" fix & think they have the problems solved. Their sponsored shooters are reporting no problems & he offered to replace mine with the "Fixed" units to try out & they will either replace my 2 with the new ones or give me credit for their standard Slide Ride units. I'm still fried over what happened at Indiana but I'll give it a shot. I'm going to mount it on my back- up gun & try it out. In the meantime I ordered a Trijicon RMR & mount to put on my main gun & see how I like that unit. Thankfully John Booth came down with Hunter to watch him shoot who I was squadded with & had his old Bedell gun with him & lent me his for the rest of the match. I've never shot with an upright C-MORE & didn't shoot very good but was able to finish the match & still had fun at a great match that Jake put on.

We'll I've officially quit ever using any C-More sights unless they permanently fix their RTS2 junk. I've purchased 2, both of course quit & was sent back to be replaced with their supposedly circuit board fix. Shot the Indiana Sectionals this week-end & the sight quits. After shooting 2-6 shots the dot shuts off. After having the same thing happen on 5 straight stages, completely ruins my favorite match of the year. Now what C-More? Replace the junk circuit board in the jink RTS2 sight again that is guaranteed to quit working! So I have $900.00 worth of junk not worth $0.90 - can't wait to see tomorrow what C-Mores customer service reaction is. I loved the sight when it worked but there is nothing worse that an un-realible expensive piece of crap without anything being done to fix the problem, they just keep marketing & selling junk they are fully aware it is nothing more than an expensive POS. Rant over, just my experience that seems to happen with most shooters.

I really like my Adidas GSG 9.2 boots, great traction, lightweight, keep your feet dry & I wear them all day, very comfortable.

I've dealt with Dave & he's a class act & a great gunsmith.

It is a very slow process to get your brass dry. You need to keep rotating the 5 tiers to get an even drying process & it takes forever to get the brass dry. The max capacity is not that big, maybe 4-500 rounds at a time. If you want to dry a few thousand pieces you would spend most of a day. If you could just load it once & come back & they would be dry it would be useful but having to keep rotating the tiers several times to dry at the most 500 rounds it is time-consuming. If someone did not shoot that many rounds it wouldn't be bad but for shooters shooting ten of thousands of rounds a year it's not worth the effort.
