  1. I had several 9mm guns with Sliderides, and none of them had ejection issues.
  2. Well, you have the right to run your company any way you wish, but I belong to the old school, that maintains that it is not customer's job to find you. It is your job to reach your customers. Clearly here all those who bought other products on BF did not buy yours. So whether by thought or not, but you lost business. Before buying I looked at your site for sale - there wasn't. I bought from you many times before, so my first stop was your place. Sorry you missed me. I know I am just one customer, and my $300 is not going to change your bottom line... but then - maybe I am not alone.
  3. I wasn't. I knew there was a good chance it was going to happen - that friend told me that's how it was last year. But there was also a chance they might be all sold out on Friday, so I just went with one bird in the hand.
  4. There are still a few of us out there, who refuse to touch all those IG, FB and similar. But Monday was already too late... I presume others already sold tons of product on Friday. On Monday EG was selling whatever left at 15% off.
  5. Yep... half penny cheaper. Math... she said...
  6. I really don't have "brand of choice", but Everglades are cheaper than Precision Delta. Sorry that gets your panties in a bunch.
  7. Cool! Send out emails with promo, but don't mention in them site-wide sale, just mention a few items no one wants. Create the best kept secret in the industry! BTW, your picture is from Monday... we were talking about Friday.
  8. Well, as I stated, it did cross mine, and I did not see in on those bullets. And no, the email did not have anything about "All Bullets", it just mentioned 3 or 4. I have it here. So one company makes it clear and obvious... the other one hides it. Guess which one gets the worm?
  9. A friend told me about EverGlades regular Black Friday deals, so I went on their site and signed up for their promotions, it took me a minute or so. On Black Friday I received their email with promotions. It was rather painless. It was 10% on Friday, and then 15% on Monday. Their bullets are very good. I get the same POI, and the velocities are nearly identical to PD. Slightly different shape - ogive, as opposed to the cone.
  10. I don't like "social" media and don't use it, but actually there were emails from PD, just no 124gr bullets in them. I have their BF email. Another one was on Monday. All wrong bullets. What can I say? Advertising sells.
  11. That's how I got my information, plus they were 15% off on Monday. They do this every year, a friend tipped me. I have done a lot of business with Precision, but they apparently don't keep mailing list. As result - I looked there, but did not see it... I saw some other bullets, but not 124gr JHP. If their goal was to make it hard to fine - it is their business, but they surely succeeded!
  12. To my knowledge there was no BF discount on JHP bullets from Precision - I looked. So the price comparison is fair.
  13. Yes to all that, and they USED to have best price, but last time I bought EverGlades bullets - with Black Friday discount there were cheaper, and quality-wise at least as good.
  14. Just one suggestion - load not 100 primers, but 110, when using small ones. I keep one 100pc flat box of primers near the machine, and dump 10 additional primers every time. You can actually do 112 small ones. It doesn't sound like much, but believe me, it makes a noticeable difference when loading.
  15. You can use plastic curtains, or just sheets of plastic, to separate your reloading bench area from the rest of the drafty garage, they are inexpensive and work very well. Once you have that area separated, it will be easy to get it comfortable.
  16. I understand, and that is what I am talking about too. When it sheers off completely, take the good small diagonal cutter, spread its ends about 4-5mm, and press them lightly into the screw - you can easily pull it out that way - done many times. There is no tension on the screw once its head is lost. After one turn you use your fingers. This, if you are talking about the screw on the slider. If you mean the screw in the drive arm - then I don't have it in my drive.
  17. Here is my testing history, as you can see I was able to drop the level fairly fast. 18. Not a problem at all, I can easily build one myself, I have some beautiful Oriental Motors units with 1/4" shafts and speed controllers. I actually bought them for just that project years ago, but considering the casefeeder jamming issues, I never did it.
  19. Thank you for the advice! I believe the funnel you mean is the Dillon part Stock Number: 16617, I might try it. As far as the Forcht motor upgrade - I was not able to find it on their site, perhaps you would have a link? If it is just a faster and more powerful motor, then I can do that with some small 3Ph motors that I have, but I would like to see what they offer.
  20. In my case, using my variable speed power drive the limiting factor is not the Case pro, it is the case feeder. And yes, it is mounted to a totally separate base, to a wall, really, but still trying to run it constantly at its high speed you get too many stoppages. The machine itself I have comfortably ran at 3,600, but the case feeder always falls behind. I replaced the older feeder with the brand new, current one, and it is better, but still not as reliable as I would need. I don't know how the rollsizes handles the wrong brass. A .40 case in the stream of 9mm will stop the Case pro, and a .380 case might jam it. The upside-down cases are usually not a problem.
  21. Nylon screws are wear item, and there is no need to drill them out, just buy a bag of 100pcs for a few bucks, and change them as soon as you notice slight distortion to the head shape. In those very few cases when they lost their heads, I used diagonal cutters to unscrew the stem - comes out very easily.
  22. Well, it is what it is, but there are other options, of course. I doubt anyone would be sitting with no gun, waiting... most likely he would be shooting something else in the meantime.
